Whoa. Nice work, John! Another great squat'n'PC session!

I'm gonna have to get the gumption to start working hard on the squat and catch up with you.

Thanks StrongIslander, it is always nice to see some other people on here from the area. I have worked with Pat a few times, he is a great kid. Very hard working.

Thanks Oldster, I really appreciate all of your kind words. Coming from someone as strong as you they mean a lot.

    I have no doubts.

    4/9

    Bench - 45x10x2, 135x5, 185x5, 225x3, 255x1, 297.5x3
    Press - 45x5, 95x5, 135x3, 185x1, 217.5x3
    Chins - BWx14, 11, 10

Really good session today. I decided to bench and press heavy because I will not be able to train Friday, Saturday, or Sunday this weekend. I am happy I did because I smoked my presses today. These were probably the best presses I have done in about a month. Really good bar path and minimal lay-back on my third rep. Looking forward to squatting and deadlifting on Thursday.

Awww, pshaw. Its all disinformation. You've never seen me and Justin Bieber in the same room at the same time, have you?

That's a great session. Not enough bench volume of course, but what happened to your back down sets?

Thanks Oldster, I dropped the back-off sets today due to time constraints. Hopefully it doesn't come back to bite me next week!

Prob'ly not. My partner usually thrives on something like that from time to time.

But when *I* try it, it usually bites me in the butt....

    4/11

    Squat - 45x10x2, 135x5, 225x5, 275x3, 315x2, 355x5, 375x5, 400x5
    Deadlift - 135x3, 185x3, 225x3 (all p.cleaned), 315x3, 365x2, 405x1, 455x1, 505x3

Not a great day today. Squats felt off and my deadlift did not feel as good as last week. I am just happy I made all my reps.

    starting strength coach development program
    4/15

Long day today. Had a blast this weekend auditing the SS Seminar in Brooklyn. It was great to be around so many good people and coaches. Very proud of Rori for completing the course despite her recent injuries that have been nagging her. Also, to anyone who has friends or family in Boston my thoughts and prayers are with you.

    Squat - 45x10x2, 135x5, 225x5, 275x3, 315x2, 365x1, 405x1, 445x3
    P. Clean - 135x3, 185x3, 225x2, 247.5x2x6

Better than expected lift today despite a long day at work and not enough food or sleep. All my squat warm-ups felt great. Have a video of my top set with 445. After the set I noticed a pretty significant knee slide on all of my reps. I generally do not do this, I will have to concentrate on fixing that later this week. Also, all of my p. clean sets felt really good. Here are a couple of videos from tonight:
