Not everyone's privileged to get the massive WolfPump™. Keep at it, and one day you too might approach the levels of Pumpedness that I achieve.

Oh, and congrats on that 315 bench. Great milestone.

Thanks guys, hopefully I can keep this going through July.

    5/9

    Squat - 45x10x2, 135x5, 225x5, 275x3, 315x2, 365x5, 375x5, 385x5
    Deadlift - 185x3, 225x2, 245x1 (all p. cleaned), 315x3, 385x2, 425x1, 470x8

Good day today. Squats felt good although my form is not as consistent as I would like it to be yet. Deadlifts went really well. I try not to get too excited about how my workouts go, but I crushed my set at 470 today. My pulling mechanics are really locked in right now. Very happy with this.

    5/11

    Press - 45x5x2, 95x5, 135x3, 155x2, 185x1, 205x4, 185x5x2
    Chins - BWx13, 13, 12, 10

Terrible session. My press form was all over the place. I probably could have gotten another rep with 205 but I was really frustrated that I kept pressing the bar out in front of me so I just racked it. Hopefully next week goes better.

    5/12

    Squat - 45x10x2, 135x5, 225x5, 275x3, 315x2, 385x1, 420x5
    P. Clean - 144x3, 176x3, 209x2, 242x1, 264x1x8

Much better session than Saturday. My squats with 420 was the best set of five I have done in a while. Cleans went well, not as consistent as last week but still pretty happy with them overall. I hope everyone had a great weekend and a Happy Mother's Day.

    5/14

    Bench - 45x10x2, 135x5, 185x5, 225x3, 245x1, 270x8, 245x9, 8
    Chins - BWx5, BW+57x5, 4, 3, BWx11

Pretty good day today. Re-set my bench after last week's triple with 315. All of my lifts are now re-set and should make a good deal of progress leading up to the meet in July. 270 for eight was easy. I had a few more reps in the tank.

    5/16

    Squat - 45x10x2, 135x5, 225x5, 275x3, 315x2, 365x5, 375x5, 385x5
    Deadlift - 185x3, 225x2, 245x1 (all p. cleaned), 315x3, 385x2, 425x1, 475x5

Okay day today. Squats went well. All of the sets felt easy and the bar path felt much better than the previous couple of weeks. Deadlifts were a little disappointing. Apparently there are members of my gym that have complained about the noise made from heavy deadlifts so the gym owner has asked us (myself, my buddy Mike, and Nick) to use foam mats under the plates when we deadlift. Today was the first time I had to try doing this and it was really distracting. I think I would have had six or more reps if I pushed myself but I stopped at five just from being annoyed. Hopefully we figure something out before next Thursday's session.

Hey, are you far from Syosset? Bev Francis Gym....I'm pretty sure that they wouldn't mind the deadlifts.

Also, in Lynbrook, there's a little Gold's gym on Franklin Ave that I sometimes go to when I'm at home. They have pretty decent stuff there and I don't think they'd mind the deadlifting either.

But in both cases, I haven't gone to a gym up in Long Island in years; so, things may have changed.

    Thanks Dwayne,

I will definitely look into both of those places after I speak to my training partners and see what we decide to do. I think it may be time to start putting together a real home gym and forget about training in commercial places. It is just too frustrating.

This x 10000. If you have the ability to do so, and certainly if there isn't a good serious gym nearby, it seems like the best idea.
