    10/18

    Squat - 45x10x2, 135x5, 225x5, 315x3, 365x2, 425x1, 475x1x5
    Bench - 45x10, 135x5, 185x3, 225x2, 275x1, 325x1x5
    Deadlift - 225x3 (p. cleaned), 315x3, 405x2, 495x1, 555x3

Okay night or training. I wasn't feeling very energized tonight. Probably due to a lack of food and sleep. Squats were definitely slower than last week, but my form held up well. 475 was my second attempt at my last meet, but I have never actually done this weight in training so I was happy with this. Bench felt okay. I did not feel like I had anything left in the tank for deadlifts. My last warm-up with 495 felt like garbage. I was able to get my triple with 555 which is a PR at that weight, but it was ugly. This was definitely the most I have had to grind on a set of deadlifts in a long time. Below are some videos from tonight:

My last single with 475 on the squat:

    Deadlift triple with 555:

I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Whoa-- those deadlifts were no joke-- awesome work man, way to lay it out on the platform. And here I thought you were just a high-rep, light lifter ;-)
    Seriously, that was bad ass.

Nicely done. You need some snazzy knee socks, though.

John, I lurk on your log, but don't post. Sick grinding. I look at you as an example for myself as we are similar ages/heights/weights, but you are stronger. Thanks for the motivation.

Thanks, everyone. I really appreciate the support. Hopefully training keeps going well for the next few weeks so I can hit some new PRs at my upcoming meet. Also, I am very happy to say that Nick crushed it at his Oly meet yesterday. I will let him post about it for himself, but just wanted to throw it out there because I am very happy for him.

    Assessment: correct. Love that part.

555x3 is legit. Strong work all around.

Same here John. My next Saturday at the gym is the week before the meet when I only do a couple sets at 55%. Not even training weights.
