    Thurs 11/29

    Light Squat - 45x5x2, 135x5, 185x5, 225x3, 295x5x2
    Press - 45x5x2, 95x5, 125x3, 155x1, 170x5x3
    P. Clean - 45x3x2, 95x3, 135x3, 185x3, 215x3x5

Feeling good, feel like I still have plenty of room to progress on this LP.

    Tues 12/4

    Squat - 45x5x2, 135x5, 185x5, 225x3, 275x2, 315x1, 345x1, 375x5x3
    Bench - 45x5x2, 135x5, 185x3, 225x1, 255x5,5,4
    Chins - BWx11,7,7

Had to rush to get my workout in today. I had one hour to get it in from start to finish. My bench definitely suffered. My first two sets the bar speed was great but I didn't rest enough before my last one and only got four reps. Same goes for the chins. I am still going to go up in weight on the bench because I know I would have easily made the last set with proper rest.

Good work JP, you're getting pretty far on your LP for squats, especially for a sub 220. Strong. Getting that all in in an hour definitely sucked. Your bench should be fine next time, given only one missed rep. Just give it plenty of rest time.

    Thanks Wolf,

The squat is moving along, I am really pushing to hit 405 on the LP. As for the sub 220 thing, I am working hard to correct that and keep the strength gains going.

    Thurs 12/6

    Light Squat - 45x20, 135x5, 185x5, 225x5, 300x5x2
    Press - 45x5, 95x5, 125x3, 155x1, 175x5x3
    Deadlift - 225x5, 275x3, 335x2, 385x1, 430x5

Good workout today. Trained with Nick. Squats felt light and easy, presses were a bit of a grind but I made it through. I am particularly happy with how my deadlift felt. 430 went very smooth, I have plenty of room to keep pushing the weight up.

    Sat 12/8

    Squat - 45x10x2, 135x5, 225x5, 275x3, 315x2, 345x1, 380x5x3
    Bench - 45x5x2, 135x5, 185x3, 225x2, 260x5, 5, 4
    Chins - BWx5, BW+37.5x5x3

Trained with Nick today. Overall, pretty good day. 380 on squats felt much better than 375 did on Tuesday. I went up on bench and was sure I was going to get all three sets and then for some reason on my last rep I brought the bar down way too low on my chest and missed the rep. Not happy about it. I will have to do this weight again. Chins were fine, then decided to push the prowler. Just plain stupid.

I hope everyone has a great weekend,

    JP

    Tues 12/11

    Squat - 45x10x2, 135x5, 225x5, 275x3, 315x2, 345x1, 385x5x3
    Press - 45x5x2, 95x5, 125x3, 155x1, 177.5x5, 5, 4
    P. Clean - 45x3x2, 135x3, 185x2, 205x1, 220x3x5

Okay workout. I am happy I got my squats, the third set was a grind but I think it was more because I lost a little bit of focus. I am disappointed about missing my last rep of the press. I have been a little greedy and been using five pound jumps here and there, I will have to begin consistently micro-loading both bench and the press. I am confident I will get this weight next time. Power cleans felt relatively easy.

    Thurs 12/13

    Light Squat - 45x10x2, 135x5, 185x5, 225x5, 275x3, 305x5x2
    Bench - 45x5x2, 135x5, 165x5, 185x3, 225x2, 260x5x3
    Chins - BWx14, 9, 7

Light and easy today. Bench felt good. I definitely have more room to progress on the LP as long as I micro-load the bench and the press. Was going to push the prowler but ran out of time.

HA! Me either, it just sounds better to say we ran out of time.
