John, thanks for the plug. Seeing a girl this week based on your recommendations. How's D'Agostino doin? Tell that asshole to log some shit. Keep up the asswhoppery!

Not quite as well as the recently oiled B&R, but better than The Rogue Bar. I don't know how you guys clean on a B&R. That thing eats my neck up

Hey Adam, I didn't clean my warm-ups like I usually do because of the center knurling on the Ohio bar. For a power bar, it spins really well. I was impressed with it. As long as you take care of your B&R bar, it will always spin really well.

No problem, Alex. Let me know how it goes, I think you will help her out a lot. Nick is battling some nagging quad tendinitis and just got back into squatting and hasn't really done any Oly lifting in a few weeks. He's not going to start logging again until he gets back on a regular program. I will however pass along that you said he is an asshole. I agree.

    1/19

    Squat - 45x20, 135x5, 185x5, 225x5, 275x3, 315x2, 365x1, 405x1, 440x2, 420x3, 400x5
    Bench - 45x15, 135x5, 185x5, 225x3, 275x2, 305x1, 322x4, 307x5, 292x5
    P. Clean - 135x3, 185x2, 225x1, 242x2x6

Pretty terrible day today. I trained much earlier in the morning than is typical for me which I think explains my squats. Hopefully this is just an anomaly.

    1/22

    Press - 45x8x2, 95x5, 135x3, 185x2, 210x5, 200x5, 190x5
    Chins - BWx11, 10, 8

Semester starts up on Monday so I realized I will have to start splitting my workouts up again to save time. Not a bad session today.

By "take care of your B&R bar," John really means "brush it down and oil it several times daily, and count that as your 'office hours' even though you don't let any students in to speak with you during this time."

Training in the morning sucks. Especially the early morning. I don't like to train till I've been awake for at least 6 hours and eaten twice. I may start training in the mornings sometimes, and I'm not looking forward to it.

Some strong pressing, Petreeeezo. That 210x5 a PR for 5?

Thats some heavy ass presses man! Do you grind your presses like you grind your deads and squats? If so id like to see that

That is actually exactly what I mean. Thank you for clearing up any possible confusion for Adam, Wolf.

Thanks, Wolf. I hit 217.5x5 back in the late spring so I am not back at PR type numbers yet, but getting closer.

Thanks, Dunk. All of my lifts are pretty grindy. I will try and get some video up the next time I press.

    1/23

    Squat - 45x15x2, 135x5, 185x5, 225x5, 275x5, 315x5, 365x5, 385x5x2
    Deadlift - 135x5, 225x5, 315x3, 385x2, 425x1, 475x1, 510x5, 460x5

Not a bad training session. I was happy with how 510 moved. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

    1/25

    Bench - 45x15x2, 135x5, 185x5, 225x3, 275x2, 315x1, 342x2 (paused), 327x3, 312x5
    Chins - BWx5, BW+25x6, 6, 5

Okay training session. Felt a little out of the groove on bench, but 342x2 paused is a PR so I will take it.

Not recently, but it will be for the next few months.

    1/26

    Squat - 45x15x2, 135x5, 185x5, 225x3, 275x3, 335x2, 385x2, 425x1, 480x2, 455x2, 430x3
    P. Clean - 135x3, 185x2, 225x1, 252x1x10

Got to train with Rori today. Happy with how squats went.

Here is a video of 480x2. It is a bad angle to see anything, but I definitely got on my heels on the second rep:

252x1 P. Clean video. This was the seventh single (I think). I have to work on jumping with straight elbows, this looked pretty close to an arm pull to me:
