So, my 6:30am flight to Dallas for the AO was re-scheduled to 10:30, then 12:15, then 2:35, then finally cancelled. I am really disappointed that I will not be able to be there to help coach Nick at the meet. Wolf's flight was able to leave, so Nick will be in good hands. Having had the opportunity to train with him and watch his progress up close for the past year plus, I know he is going to kill it tonight.

I knew you'd like the dead stop rack benches. Which accessory did you sub in the haltings for? Deficits?

Hi Andy, thanks for checking in. I am really enjoying the new program and think I am going to do very well with it. I am definitely going to do the deficit deadlifts as my weakness on deads is right off the floor. Anything I get to about mid-shin, I generally have no problem locking out. For now, I am just experimenting with the haltings. I will keep you posted as to how it is going.

    12/9

    Bench - 45x10x2, 135x5, 185x3, 225x2, 265x5x5
    Press - 45x5, 95x5, 140x8x3

Good training session. I basically did my bench close-grip as my right shoulder has been a little cranky. Presses felt light and easy.

    12/10

    Squat - 45x10x2, 135x5, 225x5, 315x3, 365x2, 405x5x5
    Chins - BWx11, 8, 7

405x5x5 ties a volume PR. I want 405 for 5x5 to be just another training weight, not a big deal. Tonight was a step in the right direction. Below is a couple of videos of my first and last sets:

    Thanks, Niki.

    12/12

    Bench
    - 45x10x2, 135x5, 185x3, 225x2, 275x1, 295x1, 315x1, 320x1, 325x1, 330x1x3
    Press - 45x5, 95x5, 135x3, 165x2, 195x5

Pretty good training session. My shoulder has still been a little cranky, so I used a closer grip and instead of doing 330 for five singles across, I decided to work up to 330 in smaller jumps just to test things out. All singles were paused, will go up and go back to five singles across next time. Presses went really well, better than last week.

Bench not showing up in tapatalk again.

So it doesn't count, you have to do it again.

    12/13

    Squat - 45x10x2, 135x5, 225x5, 315x3, 385x2, 425x1, 480x1
    Deadlift - 225x3, 315xx3, 405x2, 495x1, 545x1, 575x1
    RDL - 325x8x2

Good training session. Squats felt really good. I probably could have doubled it. I was hoping to work up to 585 on the deadlift for a single or double, but I was training at my globo on a crappy bar and it kept rolling in my hands.

    12/16

    Bench - 45x10x2, 135x5, 185x3, 225x2, 270x5x5
    Press - 45x5, 95x5, 142x8x3

Good night tonight. Bench felt really light, but my shoulder is still feeling crappy.

Been following your log for the past couple days, love the circle of lifters you have. I bet that makes training alot better. Wish i could get that kind of group
