I'm not sure with Covid-19. Maybe one in the fall. I'm making pretty good progress at this point. I think the DUP programming works well for me and now I'm lifting at hone where the equipment is better than the commercial gym.

Usually I just update this log with my regular workout info but I wanted to note that yesterday I deadlifted 405 lbs for 10 reps. PR. This was very exciting milestone as it's a goal I have held for many years. My previous pr reps at 405 lbs was 8 reps. Those last 2 reps represent a lot of extra work. It took me about 2 years to get to 200 lb press/300 lb bench/400 lb squat and 500 lb dead. That was about 6-7 years ago. Since then my long term goals have been 250 lb press/400 lb bench/500 lb squat/600 lb deadlift and the additional goal of deadlifting 405 lbs for 10 reps. I hit the 500 lb squat about 4 years ago. I have come close to 400 lbs on bench (390 on 2 occasions at the gym, 380 at a meet) and hit 585 lbs about a year ago on deadlift (although it got red lighted for hitching). I am 47 years old and probably only have a few more years to try to hit the bench and deadlift goals. I have pressed 232 lbs at the gym (I think 230 in competition) but I really doubt that I'll ever get my press to 250 lbs. And that's ok because it's the constant struggle to improve myself that ultimately pays more dividends than the weight on the bar. But it still felt really good to deadlift 405 lbs for 10 reps and I really want to hit 600 for a single.

I injured my left thumb by trying to carry too much stuff out of pool including a bookshelf sized bluetooth speaker with just my thumb because I didn't want to make 2 trips. Stupid. Nothing serious- probably just a sprain but poor decision making on my part. It was swollen for about 5 days which prevented training.
