    Haaaaaaa

Coming back after travel makes weights heavier, for sure. Despite that you seem to be recovering quite well. Yay for that!

I just really want to thank you for helping me with my deadlift (I posted a video in the StartingStrengthCoaches Q&A).
I appreciate the time and effort you spent there giving me tips a lot!
Wanted to tell you this in a private message, but your inbox is full.

Good luck for your own training and greetings from Germany!

What's up everybody! I think it's about time I start posting again. Back is coming along and I just started adding back snatch and clean and jerk.

    7/19
    Power Clean + Power Jerk
    130x1, 140x1, 150x1 still had gas here

    Paused Bench
    340x2@9, 340x2@9.5, 340x2@9

    Deadlift
    545x3@9, 525x3@9, 505x3@9

First time deadlifting in the mid 5's since march. I feel a little inhibited still, like I cant pull as hard as I want to, but I'm very happy with how today went. The 150 power jerk may possibly be a PR. I've also been on a roll right now with my bench and press and am hoping for some milestones over the next few weeks.

    Thanks Pete

    Squat
    365x5x2

Prowler: 5 sprints about 40yds high handles
    Chins: 4 sets of 5

For squats I just stayed nice and light, just wanted to get some blood in my legs. Prowler and chins were superset. Left lat felt strained on chins.

    8/22
    Squat
    475x5@8.5, 475x5@9, 475x5@9 (3x5 PR)

    Press
    240x2@8, 240x2@8, 240x2@8

Squat is getting very hard. Rest intervals are around 10 mins. I haven't decided if I'm going to keep pushing and go for 495x5x3 over the next two weeks or if I'm going to separate out volume and intensity. I'm hoping time will tell in the next couple of days what the best choice is. I have lots of room on press. The 240 doubles looked and felt like I could have done 5.

    Bench
    315x5x5 PR

I warmed up with squat today, just a few sets of 135x5, because I'm still feeling beat up from the 475 on friday. After bench I fooled around with some split snatches working up to 70k for a few singles. Nothing special just wanted to feel what the split felt like again. This is a huge bench milestone PR for me. Before this I have attempted 315x5 3 times and every time hit 4. Not only was today the first time I hit 315x5 I was able to do it for 5 sets.

Thanks Rob. I followed it up with another milestone.

Coach Nick,i am glad you are back in the logs as your fan.

I have a question to Nike romaleos.
How do you feel using them in the Deadlift comparing Rough shoes?
Romaleos has a higher heel,so i think it's disadvantage due to more distance to lock out from the floor and hard to maintaining mid foot.although your pull is very impressive with that.
I am not sure my logic is right.what do you think?
