He's ok! Had a great workout with Dr. Trizz last night. He's just lazy / preoccupied with school.

Hey Rori, that's good to hear! I am sure that I am not the only person interested in how his training has been going. While he is preoccupied with life, maybe he could update his PRs here when they happen, so that people can see how far ahead he gets :-).

Hey Steven, I hope everything is going well. Nick will be competing at the USAPL American Open in a few weeks. I am very confident that he is going to hit a big squat PR. I am sure he will update his log then.

Hello John, thanks, things are going fine. Glad that Nick still competes and I look forward to seeing what he lifts at the AO. I can't really complain that he does not update this more regularly, I often lack the time/motivation to do so myself. Speeking of which, I should probably do it now...

Hey Steven, it's probably a good time to post an update, thanks for asking. Recent PRs are as follows:

    Snatch: 140x1, 130x2
    Press: 275x1
    Bench (paused): 365x1
Deadlift: 545x5... lots of gas here, probably 2 or 3 in the tank.

In the last week of training I also hit so pretty big lifts that were not PRs. I squatted 565x1, probably at a 9 after reviewing the video, pressed 265x1@9 and pause benched 340x2@10. I also caught 145 on snatch and lost it behind me in slow motion so its just a matter of time before I hit it. The main goals right now are to Squat 600 and total 1600+ at the American Open. The next meet after the American open will be a weightlifting meet in February.

Here's the recent 565. There is a decent amount of knee slide that I know I need to work on. This is the heaviest I've ever gone in training and 5lbs below my meet PR so I'm very happy with it.

That didn't look even a little bit hard. You sandbagging us, D'Agostino?

From the looks of it, that 600 squat is in the bag. Keep it up Nick!

565 didn't even look hard. Great job and that 600 is definitely there!

Thanks guys. Today went pretty well.

    11/25
    Squat: 425x4@7, 505x4@9, 485x4@9, 465x4@8.5, 445x4@8
    Power Clean/ Power Jerk: 140x1, 147.5x1, 140x1x4
    Tng Bench: 295x5x5

Working in with some kids doing DLs on the powers so thats why theres a random 325 in there. Just going to stay lighter on clean and jerks until after the USAPL americans.
