Felt pretty beat up this entire week. The goal for Monday was 500 for 12 reps but it just was not there and had to take a step back. Weekly squat volume was 30 reps averaging 440. I'm hoping the drop in volume helps with the fatigue I accumulated over the past few weeks and lets me hit some big numbers in the coming week or two.
Hey guys,
Still here lol. I had a couple of crazy weeks. I went on a 9 day vacation to Northern California that has me seriously questioning why I've wasted so much time living in NY. Also between finishing the golf article for Rip and starting my second year of PT school simultaneously my logging feel off track. Overall training has been going very well. I PRed on vacation squatting 520x5 and benching 370x1. That was my first bench single PR since December 2014 and first squat 5 rep PR since fall of 2015. Videos below.

So just to outline the overall progress over the last 12 weeks. The skeleton of what I ran was the barbell medicine 12 week strength template with modifications regarding exercise selection and supplemental exercise volume progression. It really is a great program and for mare advanced lifters looking for something to do I would recommend purchasing it and tweaking it for your own individual needs. On 5/30 I started the training cycle squatting 505x1@8, benching 330x1@8.5, and pressing 230x1@8.5. I finished with the above PRs and a volume PR on press with 225x5x4@8.5. I have not been progressing deadlift and just maintaining the ability to pull in the mid 500's for a set of 5@8. My general focus has been, and will continue to be, trying to drive my squat up.
Last week of training went as follows
