Whomp. So tired. Less than 24 hour between sessions.

    5/16/15

    Rack pulls 315,335,355,335,335x3

    Tempo Bench 155,165,170,165,165x3

Bulgarian Split Squats 115x5, 125x5 @8 (heard/felt a pop at my medial tibial region---have heard this before but scared me a bit more than usual give what injuries I have seen happen lately--- so took a 5 min rest and talked myself into another hesitant set) 125x5@9

Tired and wiped. Trying to muster up the energy to get some work done.

Is that a challenging weight for you on rack pulls?

I can't really say because I don't always rack pull at the same gym on the same rack so the heights vary slightly. I did 355x4 during my low stress week 3 weeks ago but I hadn't squatted in wraps less than 25 hours prior and it was a different rack. Not really apples to apples ya know? I've done 375x6 from blocks about the same height.

The stress is really all that matters. Have to take every thing in context. This rack felt low.

Monday 5/18/15 redemption from last comp squat day!

    Squat
    265, 280, 300, 285x4
300 was more like an RPE 10 but I was so in my head last week about a bad squat session (305x1 was a grind and 290x3 was all I had for my top volume set) that I just decided to prove to myself that having a smaller waist and ass isn't impeding my progress. This isn't a PR but I'm really happy with it. And considering it was a 10...I had quite a bit of energy left in my for bench which I was surprised about!

    Bench
    175, 185, 190 (PR RPE 9), 180 x4
I missed the 4th rep on 190 just before the Arnold. Super happy about this!

Monday Night Training 5/18/15 300x4 Squat, 190x4 Bench Press PR - YouTube

    2 count Pause BP
    155, 165, 170 (PR), 165x4

Terrible workout today after traveling yesterday. In LA Fitness, Florida, with hex plates, comp deadlift and supplemental pull from the floor. Oh and forgot my straps.

Supposed to be 4s on comp lifts but...

    Deadlift...
    315x4, 335x4, 345x3, 335x2x2
I was chasing the bar and resetting my whole stance etc etc and just getting frustrated and tired and worried I was going to hurt myself. Also, all the rolling around was ripping my hands apart.

    CGBP 135, 155, 160, 155,155x6
About 5 dudes came up to me to tell me how impressed they were...I'm like dude, thanks, this is nothing, I'm a bro.

SLDL off a 45lb plate I set 5s on either side of each plate to limit rolling but it only sort of work and still beat my hands to hell and I forgot my straps :/ so I improvised...

    135, 185,205,225,225x6

    It is what it is.

Ya it is what it is. I'm not getting too worked up about it. My hams are sore as poop from deficit SLDLs lol!

I posted something here instead of where I wanted to post it, and since I can't delete posts . . . Uh . . . I suppose I'll wish Rori a Happy Birthday here!
