Trying to find a bench variety that doesn’t wreck my pec. Trying close grip everything even in the bench shirt which is pretty much sacrilege. Used a pretty loose shirt. Eh, could still feel my pec. Wanted to get some sports massages done on it but the lockdown now makes that impossible.
Yeah I’m too lazy to change weight for DB stuff. 45 for rolling was way too heavy for a deload week but meh

Trying to stay over the bar a little more in DL. Thinking maybe it’ll help some with weird knee stuff and overall positioning.
Deload week but everything felt good. I know I’ve been sandbagging my DLs recently but it’s good to know there’s way more to go before progression stalls.
This is the end of the deload week. Thinking I’ll do 1-2 more training blocks of similar things then switch it up to something more long-term sustainable. Plus I need to get some gear back on before my hip gets too beat up.

Really need to break this habit of pushing the bar forward on the way up. It doesn’t really cause a problem on this raw stuff but when I get into real weight with equipped it’ll bite me pretty fast.

Pretty hard to self hand off these equipped benches. Have to set up really far back and then be at risk of hitting the rack. Oh well, it’s just bench.

Squat stretching started 1026. First work set finished 1100. Finished all 1125. Depth on wrapped sets not great but it never is, don’t really care.

Buckle belt 3rd from end seems potentially better than lever. Tried to measure band tension. Was completely on the floor with 95 and just barely hovering with 65. I’d estimate the bands take off ~55-60lbs at the bottom. Almost completely slack at lockout, so probably 5-10bs there.
