Agree to disagree, sir. I ended up binging the whole first season because it just got more and more bizarre. Love it.

    Lifting:
    Muscle snatch to squat:
    20kgx5
    40x4x2
    50x4x2
    60x4

    Hang snatch + snatch 2+1
    60x1
    70x1
    75x1x2
    72x1

Coach dialed me back instead of letting me advance because some slop stared creeping up in the receiving position.

Sots snatch press / squatting Klokov press / whatever
    20kgx5
    40x5
    50x5
61x5 PR Added the extra 1 so that I can bold it here.

Coach made me pause all reps at the top and get my knees out, i.e. this is now a mobility exercise.

Getting radio silence from the Latin girl so I guess we're 0/1 in 2017. Extrapolation suggests 0/73 to come.

It's hands down my favorite show right now. The "heavy boobs" choreography is a work of genius.

    But also:

OMG dead. Love these uncensored versions they're posting. Ahhh okay I binged the entire first season. Will need a short break. Guess it's time to rotate back to Mad Men?

Got to the gym super late after forgetting my bag, and then missing my exit and stumbling through DC for a bit. Also, first time driving through snow in my whole damn life wut??? There was only time for:

    Squat:
    20kg x10
    60x5
    100x5
    140x5
    150x5
    160x5
    170x5

with barely any rest. Coach was like "Mmmmmm efficient."

    Hey this thing's still here?

    Hang clean + clean 2+1
    20x1
    40x1
    60x1
    70x1
    80x1
    84x1
    90x1
    96x1
    100x1
    90x1

    Deadlift:
    90x5
    130x5
    150x5
    160x5x2

Binging The Crown now. Definitely feeling for Ol' Phil, that poor bastard who has spent the past 64 years explaining to people why he isn't king. So apparently the royal family is the mother of all David Copperfield shenanigans, the ultimate living diorama of all things quintessentially British, one in which none of the participants is allowed to break character? Cool. I can't imagine how they will keep this going in the social media age....

tbf, will and harry are doing a fucking good job (now at least, less so with Harry's penchant for shagging and nazi uniforms....)

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend was hilarious....I binged it all in a couple days. "I Give Good Parent" was probably my favorite musical number.

    OHS:
    20kgx5
    40x5
    50x5
    60x5
    70x4
Got some fatigue and shakes in 70 and buckled on the 5th rep. Gym was closing so I had to call it.

Finished The Crown. WOWOWOW. Really liked how they use Philip as our conduit into Buckingham Palace, the only one in the room realistic about the impending end of the empire and the changing role of the royal family. Meanwhile every other tommy in the room is crying about Making The Empire Great Again. Well not in so many words. They're upper class British men and most or all of them are veterans of at least one world war. ̶M̶A̶G̶A̶ MTEGA is for provincial pussies.

    starting strength coach development program
Everyone here is PR'ing left and right...need to train harder...

    Power jerk:
    20kg x5
    40x5
    60x5
    70x5
    80x5
    90x3x2

BTN clean grip squatting press / BTN Sotts / regular Sotts / whatever:
    40kgx5
    50x5
    60x5
    71x3 PR

I meant to do 66x5 for a 1kg 5RM PR, but screwed up loading the change plates and ended up beating my old 70x1 PR whoops. Hashtag mental.

    Snatch push press:
    70x5
    80x5
    90x5
    100x5 PR??

Jacked and tan and vaporizing panties by summer.

    Snatch pull:
    60x5
    100x5
    130x5
    140x5
    150x5

Forgot to mention. I'm actually ramping up for a comp in April. Most people going to it will probably be starting their workups at the end of this month. I'm kind of out of sync, so I'm going to be peaking as scheduled and then do a second peaking phase after that to line back up with them. I weigh about 99kg now so it might make sense to try to shoehorn myself into the 94s for once. Shredded at 77 by summer, natch.
