    No lifting to report. Panama and Colombia were great and my daughter and i had a great time together. She is back in U.S. now and I'm in Peru. My 4 day Inca Trail trek starts tomorrow and I think it is going to suck as to the physical exertion. My resting heart beat is about 20 bpm higher here at this altitute - 11,150 feet. But, hopefully I survive and rewarded with an great experience.

    Okay, just got back from South America this morning. No lifting, but the Inca Trail hike was quite taxing. Twenty six miles in total with over 8,000 in vertical climb over the course of 4 days. I lost about 13-14 lbs. during the overall trip. Only downside was strained upper right hamstring in the middle of this last week while doing some off-road motorbiking in Ecuador. Going up a steep switchback, stabbed my right leg down to avoid fall and strained it. No visible bleeding/bruising so think this will rehab quickly. That will be focus of this next coming weeks. Otherwise, a great trip.

    Hamstring rehab begins. Was really disappointed on how weak the BP was but then realized that I haven't benched since 14 December because I was having thumb problems to close the year. That has resolved itself during the break so will build this back up quickly.

    Thanks guys! It sure is good to be back. I have to get this leg rehabbed and have a trip in a couple of weeks but hope to get moving in February and start working back up. May look for a meet in May...seems like that should be about right.

    DB Front/Lateral Raise - 15x3x10
    HLR - 3x10

    Hamstring still turgid but better. Did have some bleeding that pooled down low around the knee. Doing some DMSO treatment over past couple of days to help with inflammation.
