I do think leg is slowly getting better. Rolling it out is not as bad and not as stiff. I leave tomorrow for our annual beach vacation in Eleuthera so will try to get some bodyweight stuff and and do a bit of cardio. Hopefully, the warm weather and beer will be therapeutic to the leg.

Just back from a week on the island. Did a few pushups, some air squats, some stretching, some walking, but nothing significant enough to log. Rolled the hamstring out to start today and it was like rolling bubble wrap and rice krispies, but did not hurt. The squats were not bad either so feel like this is the week that rehab begins in earnest. Still have some travel coming up that will interrupt but feeling like it is time to start moving forward.

Are you dealing with an injury right now? I also wanted to let you know that my ol' man, who is maybe 15 years your senior, is training in the Monarchs. I explained that other distinguished gentlemen have successfully training in them. He was quite pleased. He's been wearing them for years and didn't like the sound of getting different kicks just for lifting. One shoe to rule them all...

Excellent news on your Dad. The Monarchs are the secret source of strength for the over 50 crowd.
In regards to me, yeah, I got a nice hamstring/glute pull/strain a month or so ago - pretty high up on the leg. The thing is that it was not even weightlifting related. Was doing some off-road motorbiking. On really steep switchback, I cut the turn shallow and stabbed my leg out to try and save it and ended up hurting it. Starting to move forward but in Europe this week and not training.
Kind of sucks, but will start to get the attitude right and progress back. Just really hate that I ended the year with a lot of momentum and it has now all been sucked up by this injury.

Back from Europe. No training but lots of walking. Leg felt fine today so think will start ramping weight back up on SQ and maybe even do some light pulling this week.
