    Competition Bench
45xlots, 135x5x2, 185x2, 225x2, 245x1, 260x4, 305x2@8, 290x4@9, 280x4x3 - Bench continues to roll along very nicely. My target tonight was a single @8, but the first rep was nice and smooth, so instead of reloading, I took another rep. If this keeps rolling into next week I suspect a bench pr may be in the making.

    3 count paused bench
    135x5, 235x4, 255x5@9, 245x5@9

    Beltless Squats
45x5x3, 135x5x2, 185x2, 225x2, 275x1, 315x6, 350x6, 335x6 - I have a harder time judging rpe on these because it just feels kind of odd. At the time, I put 350 @9, but looking at the video I suspect it was closer to an 8 or so. Eh, keep on working on them.

    Squats w/Sleeves
45x5x3, 135x5x2, 185x2, 225x2, 275x1, 315x1,345x1, 385x2, 410x4, 445x0 - pants assploded, 405x2, 405x4 - Bring your shorts to the gym. Why? Because if you forget your shorts you will think you can squat in your khakis. You cannot squat in your khakis for long. Then you will have to borrow pants, which is what should have been done in the first place.

    Pin Bench
135x5, 185x2, 225x4 - This got screwed up because of my stupid pants

    TnG Bench
45xlots, 135x5x2, 185x2, 225x2, 245x1, 260x4, 280x4, 315x3 PR, 295x4, 285x4 - Things outside of the gym have been, um, batshit lately and took another turn yesterday afternoon. After getting 300x5 last week I had it in the back of my head to take 315 for a triple if everything felt as good this week. Unracking and setting up felt heavy and my bar path was inconsistent on my reps, but I figured that the safeties are there for a reason and, damn it, I need something to go right. Got it with a complete grind on the last rep, but I was pleased that I was able to stick with it and keep the bar moving.

    CG Bench
135x5, 225x2, 245x4, 265x4, 270x4 - Unracking these felt awful, but the video of the actual sets wasn't bad, so went up to hit my rpe target.

    SG Deadlift
135x5, 225x3, 295x4, 315x5x2 - I may not have hit a 9 on the last set, but I suspect that failure on this particular movement will come from rounding my lumbar and the fatigue was certainly there. Don't know, may be too conservative. But, 315 for a triple amiright?

You should .5 to all of your bench reps. For example, if you did 295X4, you should write 295X4.5.

Why? because you have to do a half rep to get it off the hooks : ) Give yourself some credit for that.

Nice pants explosion! I probably would've just kept training in the torn pants and if anyone asked, I'd pretend like nothing happened.

I would have continued on with the ass rip, but the waist of the pants was digging in the whole time. I actually got bruises from where the waist was interfering with the belt. Khaki squat suits suck.

wraps? bruises from kacki squat suit? single ply next?

race to 500 and the scivation tub trophy requires no wraps and no kacki squat suit.

your bench is moving bro. I need to get some more work in.

    Squat w/wraps
45x5x3, 135x5x2, 185x2, 225x2, 275x1, 315x1, 345x1, 400x3, 420x3@8, 475x1@10 - PR, 435x2@9, 405x4@9, 405x3@8.5 - I was kind of foolish and overly aggressive today. I had been thinking about taking 475 for a spin based on where I have been and while 420 was alright, I could tell that I wasn't really locked into it today. The bar wasn't settling properly on my back and I didn't feel like I was getting in the best position for my set up. But, I went for it anyway and got it, barely. I wasn't really that grim until the bar rolled on me. Oh and when I didn't keep my knees out. Oh well, the first time I hit 440 was not pretty either and have gotten past that.

    Press
    45x5, 95x3, 135x2, 160x5@8, 175x4@9.5, 165x5@9 - Feeling flat after squats

    Deadlift
135x5, 225x3, 315x1, 400x5@8, 435x5@9.5, 415x5@9, 400x5@8.5 - These all felt slow and heavy, but deadlifts almost never feel anything other than slow and heavy for me.

I was thinking that I may be being a little too aggressive right now and should be moderating my top sets to stick a bit closer to 3-5 rep ranges instead of chasing heavy singles that I have been overshooting. Fortunately, my wife is going TDY for the next two weeks, so I will get to train only after the kids go to bed assuring that I will not be able to do very much in the way of volume. Yippee.

    Comp Bench
45xlots, 135x5x2, 185x2, 225x2, 245x1, 265x4@8, 295x3@9, 325x1@9.5 - PR, 295x3@9, 280x4@9 - Ran to the gym this morning in an attempt to get one more quality session in before my wife left town. Bench was feeling decent and the RPE chart was pointing to a PR so I went after it. Overshot once again, but a PR is a PR.

    Squat w/Sleeves and Belt
45x5x3, 135x5x2, 185x2, 225x2, 275x1, 315x1, 345x1, 385x4@8, 410x4@8.5, 410x4@9, 395x4@9 - Got the kids to bed and got a chance to lift tonight, so I took it while it was there for gettin'. I'm pleasantly surprised how decent everything felt tonight even though my good bar is still at the gym and the one I was using tonight kept rolling down my back between reps. I opted to stick with 410 and not try a single tonight just to condense time and to give a little bit of a respite. I tried to warm up for bench afterward, but just didn't have the go left for anything else. If I get a chance tomorrow I'll be able to fill in the missing work, though we will see how much shoveling GPP in in for...

    TnG Bench
45xlots, 135x5x2, 185x2, 225x2, 245x1, 265x4@7, 285x4@8, 305x4@9.5, 290x4@9, 280x4@9 - Another late night of waiting for the kids to go to sleep before I could lift in a 45 degree garage. Even with all that and my pretty lousy bench, it went well tonight. I'm pleasantly surprised, especially after shoveling 3' of snow over the previous two days and dealing with being solo dad again.

    CG Bench
Warmed up, but the positioning on the bench was bugging my shoulders and just want to get to bed before having to deal with work and a potentially hectic weekend.
