    Squat

    45x5x3, 135x5x2, 185x2, 225x2, 275x1, 315x1, 365x1, 425x1, 475x1, 505x1 (PR), 475x3x3 - I could get into the massive amount of suck that was my Friday, but I'm just going to point out that I now squat MORE than 500, which makes me very happy indeed.

    45x10, 95x5, 135x3, 165x2, 190x4x5 - This was profoundly unpleasant, but got it done. Pretty sure this is a big time PR as well.

    45x5x3, 135x5x2, 185x2, 225x2, 275x1, 315x1, 365x1, 425x1, 455x4x5 - And that is where my volume run will end for this block. I'm going to keep Friday with the same general plan this week and then deload next week with probably a mini meet at the end of the week. I really was feeling flat and under recovered last night, so this is coming at the perfect time.

    135x15, 185x2, 225x2, 245x2, 275x2, 295x2, 312.5x4x5 - For as lousy as squats felt, bench was pretty damned good last night. This isn't my best 4 rep sets, I had gotten 315 several weeks back on intensity day, but it is still making me happy.

    Bench

    45xlots, 135x15, 185x2, 225x2, 245x2, 275x2, 295x2, 315x1, 340x2, 350x1 (PR), 330x3, 320x3x2 - I skipped my normal lifting day on Tuesday as my daughter got a spot for a hockey clinic hosted by the Bruins and two professional women's hockey teams in town and there are things that come before lifting. But, right back at it last night for what turned out to be a really fun night of benching. The original plan was to hit 340 for a single and then drop back down for heavy triples. That changed a bit when I was heading into the gym and idlehands was complaining about 335x2 feeling heavy which meant that if I could do 340 for a double, well, I HAD to. When the double felt good, I HAD to try for my tree fiddy. No lift off and a smooth rep. I think that there is a real chance that I will be able to get 365 (TnG) next week.

    5x5 - Burnt out on rows so did chins. I don't like chins. They is hard.

    45x5x3, 135x5x2, 185x2, 225x2, 275x1, 315x1, 365x1, 425x1, 480x1 - The goal initially was to go up to 510 for a new PR single. Warm ups felt lousy and when I got to 480 I damn near paused the rep in the hole. I got to the bottom and a whole bunch of me just went "NOPE." Somehow I got the miserable bastard back up, but that was it. I was debating adding some lighter volume, but figured that the best thing to do was walk away, deload this week, and try for an end of block PR on Friday.

    45x10, 95x5, 135x3, 175x2, 195x3, 190x4x3 - For as bad as squat felt, press was working well. Got a new all time best triple and 190 felt a lot better than last week. I'm hoping that I can turn this into a nice little single on Friday.

    45x5x3, 135x5x2, 185x2, 225x2, 275x1, 315x1, 365x1, 405x3, 425x3, 455x3 - Squats still felt lousy last night, but deload is deloading. We will see how Friday goes.

    Bench
    135x15, 185x2, 225x2, 245x2, 275x3, 295x3, 315x3 - And bench continues to feel excellent. I could have easily gotten 5 reps on 315. I'm thinking that 365 may really happen.

    Deadlift

    135x15, 225x5, 315x5, 405x3, 435x3 - I hate the end of training cycles. I have been feeling like a super hero for four months only to be greeted with feeling like I've been run over by a truck at the end. The pulls were fine, just not as good as they had been. Whatever, it is all part of the process.

    45xlots, 135x15, 185x2, 225x2, 245x2, 275x2, 295x2, 315x1, 340x1, 365x1 (PR), 375x0 - Last week I was trying to convince myself that 365 was a real possibility on bench and last night, I proved that was true. Of course, I got a bit cocky after that and got stapled by 375, but I cannot complain at all. I had set 350 as a target for the end of this training block, so this was all a massive upside. I finally have one lift that I can say is relatively decent. Now I get to not do it for weeks and have to completely rebuild it. Awesome.

    Chins
    6x5 - Getting better

    Tonight is the squat, press, and maybe deadlift tests. I have no idea if my squat is going to show up at all and there is a real chance I can't even get 500 again, much less a PR. Real life stuff is completely insane right now and I don't know how solid my head is going to be for super heavy lifts (bench doesn't count, that isn't scary). Nonetheless, I'm going to gear up on an ill-advised quantity of preworkout and see what is there.

    I saw your bench on utub. It was great.

    I give you 1.5 reps with 365 since you basically have to press it to unrack in that set up.
