    Yep, I'm Shannan. Fast approaching 42yoa, weight 120-124. I've been lifting for many years, but powerlifting since June 2012. My first competition was 12/1/12, next is 3/23/13.

    First competition lifts (12/1/12):
    Squat 165
    Bench 110
    DL 237

    Mock meet (2/23/13):
    Squat 165, 175-PR, 185-failed (folded forward)
    Bench 112, 116-matched PR, 120-failed (couldn't lock out, but closer than I've ever been)
    DL 235, 245-PR, 255-PR

    First and second lift plans for 3/23/12 - as of today:
    Squat 170, 180
    Bench 115, 120
    DL 245, 260

    I'd really like to hit squat 185/bench 120/DL 270... 3 weeks of training/eating/sleeping to go!

    Week dominated by work and little sleep. Had a dream about squats last night. Must be too many days out of the gym.
    Does anyone cut creatine before a meet? If so, how many weeks ahead to diurese? Weighed for the first time tonight in many months... not too thrilled...
