Hello all. TexasTonyCooper here. I'm currently competing in the USAPL in the SHW class. I started powerlifting back in 2010 and the very first program I did was starting strength. It worked great for me and I moved onto the Texas Method, Westside Method, and am currently training the Cube Method. My first meet ever I totaled 1380 and my most recent meet I did in February 2014 I totaled 1554 raw weighing 308. I am training for the USAPL Twin Ports Raw Open on 05/17/14.

Here's a video of all my attempts from my last meet in February:

Haha thanks Mark. I want a 1600 lb total raw by next year. We'll see how it goes though.

You probably have it right now if you want it. Those deadlifts looked really light for you.

I'll agree I probably left about 20-30 lbs on the platform because of those deadlifts. Deadlifts are my hardest lift by far and I never know how I'm going to deadlift heading into a meet. In my training my deadlifts are very inconsistent and at times frustrating. In my squat and bench I'm naturally talented and they have both gone up considerably. I've been stuck around the same weight deadlifting almost the entire time I've been powerlifting. I've switched stances several times and right now I'm deadlifting somewhere in between a sumo and a conventional. I'm assuming my technique on the deadlift is holding me back but I can't seem to locate what it is.
