Skillin, I was right on top of that failed squat. I had a better than the side judge. Your depth was there. Welcome to the USAPL.

Yeah, I thought I was gonna get red lighted for that. I'm gonna hook going forward.

Good lifting Adam. I wish I had more to add about that squat call, but it's been said. Good work overall.

I could see your grip was opening up at the top. It looked like my 617 at the states last year. I realized that because I dont have an issue with grip, that I never thought to squeeze hard. I always grip it tight now.

I might try hooking because I like the start position.

As much as I hate the 'hook' its allow me to move my deadlift north. I no longer see myself ever going back to conventional grip unless I require thumb amputation one day.

Be careful with this statement. KOTJ may interpret this in an inappropriate way.

I love the hook grip guys. I switched to it shortly after competing in the 2013 RPS InsurreXtion meet after seeing Dr. Petrizzo and Nick D have such success with it. I missed my third deadlift at that meet and at the meet I did earlier that year in the summer due to the sup hand opening, some slight windmilling, and lock out issues. Since switching to hook, hands don't open and windmilling never happens. Lockout issues have been dealt with by deadlifting on the dark side. Seeing you guys are deadlift types, I think the hook will be great for you.
