Thanks Oren. I have my mind set on squatting 400 again by March.

    12/7:
Swelling has begun to go down. There's a pretty clear bulge at the injury site. Also, there's some pretty spectacular bruising, not just on my lower abdomen, but on bits and pieces that I never previously realized were even capable of bruising. On the fence about whether I should be seeking follow-up medical care at this point.

Anyway, enough of this Dear Diary crap. Here's the actual rehab work:

    Squat: 45 x 25 x 2, 55 x 25

Definity follow up with a doctor, would be my advice.
Rip doesn't answer these questions anymore, but there's lots of stuff in the archives.

Someone posted about pushing it back in between heavy sets. Yikes.

I agree with John W, Adam. I really think it is in your best interest to get this checked out and get an actual diagnosis. I hope it does not derail your training for too long. Feel better.

Adam, you don't even know what look of horror I had I my face reading your log, seeing that you were thinking of not going in for a follow-up.

    Glad you're going in! :-)

Thanks for the concern, Leah. I'm going for a consultation on Wednesday, armed with some good info that Dr. Petrizzo laid on me in the other thread about athletic pubalgia, my current leading explanation (even though it's kind of a catch-all) for what went down.

    12/8/14:

    Rehab squats: 45 x 25, 55 x 25, 65 x 25

Long road my ass, Skittles. You think I'm going to let you squat more than me for any appreciable length of time? Not likely. Not likely at all, sir.
