    12/19/14:

New barbell came, so I spent way too much time unboxing and trying to clean the oil off it, got a late start.

    Squat: 95 x 15, 135 x 15, 155 x 15
Seated DB Press: 50's x 5 x 3 (Pressed 135 x 1 last night just to see if I could. It was ungood at the site of injury)
    Power Cleans: 95 x 3, 115 x 3, 135 x 3 x 2, 145 x 3, 155 x 0 x 2
    Clean Pulls: 155 x 5

It won't add 20 lbs to your squat or anything, but it spins nicely and really sticks to your back. Just like the B&R you used at Iron Fest. A really nice piece of purpose-built machinery and an investment I should have made long ago. You'll enjoy it on Sunday, but I'll make you treat it with kid gloves.

You'll feel the center knurl through your t-shirt. It might take a week or two to get used to.

    12/21:
    Close-grip bench: 185 x 10 x 3
    Squat: 135 x 15, 155 x 15, 175 x 15

Actually alternated cgbp and squats, and did the CGBP's with literally 0 warm-up, since Skittles already had it loaded on the bar and holidays/family stuff had me pressed for time.

I was a little surprised that you just jumped in at 185 for CGBP, but it wasn't too bad for you. Light weights.

Eh, I got away with doing something a little stupid and reckless. It wasn't that light and I won't be making a habit of it. I just wanted to get some work in, was pressed for time, and made a bad call that didn't turn out badly because I was just lucky today.

    12/22/14:

The slow, painful slog back to semi-respectable squatting crawls along (for now)...

    Squat: 135 x 15, 160 x 15, 185 x 15
    Chins: +100 x 1, +75 x 2, +50 x 3, +25 x 4, +0 x 5
Wide-grip pullups: 8. Had a little juice left and just wanted to see what they feel like. I never do these.

    12/23/14:

    Squat: 135 x 15, 165 x 15, 195 x 15
    Press: 145 x 1, 155 x 3, 140 x 3 x 4

15's are beginning to suck. Committing to 2 more days, then ratcheting back to 10's at 225.

Had the MRI today. Not the report yet. I have the photos, but not the skill to read them.
