Tough luck, but it sounds like you're making the right choice being conservative in this one. I have no doubt you'll be crushing those weights again in short order.
Thanks, CJ. I think I like your perspective on this thing better than my own.

    1/1/2015. New PR's Day.

    Squat: 275 x 5 x 3. (Okay, it's just a post-adductor tear PR, but whatever)
    Bench (touch and go): 245 x 1, 265 x 1 (Holy hell, 15-lb PR!)
    Deadlift: 455 x 1, 505 x 1 (5-lb PR! video below)
    Press: 170 x 1, 180 x 1 (2.5 lb PR!), 185 x 0 x 2

Plates didn't make it into the frame, but 505 it was.

Gainzz indeed. I guess I've been a bit of a bench bro since the injury made pressing so uncomfortable. Felt lots better today, so I'll get that thing up to 190 shortly.

If you figure out how it's even possible to do so, please explain it to my sports injury specialist doctor. He was pretty incredulous.

    1/3/14:

Exactly 1 month since the injury.

Squat: 285 x 5 x 2 (injury was fine, but I skipped the third set due to cranky right knee and being smoked from my first real night back at jiu jitsu)

    Close-grip bench: 195 x 8 x 2, 195 x 9 (should have been 10, but I missed the chest on rep 9 and had to reverse course)

DB Rows: 80 x 20 x 3 (each hand, obvi). Very sloppy, lots of momentum, arms, wrists, and hands are so pumped it hurts to type. Nice.
