That's quite a bit of paused SQ work. Your knees handling them okay, I guess?

They do me a lot of good as far as teaching me to be stronger and tighter in the bottom. My right knee does get crunchy in volume blocks but no pain during squats( deadlifts actually seem harder on it).but I try to manage it with Prehab work, and ice.

Once I get into intensity the pain seems to fade, probably due to drop on volume.

    TRAC
    Continue training as normal
    Combined stress: 4 High Stress
Weekly Avg Stress: 3.6 Moderate Stress
    Recovery Rate: 6
    Fatigue load: 4 High Stress

I am playing Close to the edge.

    squatwarmups no belt 45x10, 135x5,225x3,315x1.
Note right knee is bitchy today.

Pin bench ror long pause on pins

    240x4@9 pr
    225x4@9
    220x4@8.5
    220x4@9
Working on developing pure dead stop strength.

deadlift225x5,315x2. Ok first day using hook grip. No belt, heels.
385x5@9. What? Supposed to be my feeler set wanted 415 for 5 today. Listened to this signal and accepted my fate for today.
355x5@8.5. Stopped it there. My lower body and entire back is carrying a bunch of fatigue. Been cramping in the lats etc..

Note On Hook grip. The top set I had to alternate hook/alternate the last set I stayed on hook. Advantage, I can grip the bar narrower with the hook, it will take some conditioning of the hands to tolerate heavy weights without it distracting me from back and hip set up.
    Curls 70 3x10
    TKE 3x10.

Live for another day. I did get a pr today at least.

Nice work on the pin bench reps and PR. I admire you for trying to develop the hook grip for your pulls--my hands wouldn't survive it!

Strong work, as usual. How are you planning to adjust your blocks for the upcoming meet?
