Went through all of those in a short time. I may go to doubles across at top weight on the next time around. As long as the speed stays crisp with the pop at top. I want to see how I feel on Sunday performance wise before making that call.
The cumulative quality reps have been a missing ingredient in my mix for a while but I respond to that when mixed with heavier volume.

Couldn’t get 5 reps.. maybe it’s the weight loss or fatigue from deadlift effort. Dissapointed but it is what it is. I may need to do more work
Did some curls and went home
Friday
Missed the gym time slot as I drove to the coast to look at investment property. so I did plyometrics, pushups and triceps work at home. Next week will have more training sets. Plyo makes old guys sore in the hips.

This week the gym will be closed Friday so I will likely lower stress squats and presses Tommorow and do the heavy deadlifts on Thursday. I was real happy with the way the bar moved today.

Last few days were a blur of work so got some “me” work in finally.
Deadlift

Not looking to attempt any high singles on deadlift soon so will probably stop the LP for now. Add some variety and get off the grinder for a while, Peaking it out right now is a waste of valuable building sessions.
Squat is going well, and if I take it easy on my next squat session I may be able to get a little Higher I. The 3x5 climb but like the deadlift it may be time to accept its time to do the real work again now that I am performing at a good level of my base strength squeezing out a little. Ore intensity probably won’t do anything.
Pressing movements I am going keep doing what I am doing. if I have to drop weight for down sets I will just do More of them. Try to do some medium variation such as incline from time to time too. Smaller doses more frequently for presses will be the plan with enough variation to not have to buy a surgeon a pool.
