Started with 180# added x5 the. Threw two more 45s on and made them rattle
+270x5x3
Obviously easier than a barbell. I just had to push
Then some tricep and bicep and leg press work and called it good...ahem...bodybuilding section.
And fridays are weirdly not crowded

Missed a few logs mod sessions but they were sporadic with quality. Last week was lightning training after an episode the weekend before last With right shoulder or right lat pain, could not pinpoint to the cause but once the spasm let go everything was fine.
So sometimes life is busy, new job, new city. Slow relocation process. So the interim goal is to build up some capacity get a little Hypertrophy and not get hurt and have to back off. Going to a very simple/boring methodology of working up volume over time with manageable but effective loads. Nothing hard, the volume build will be the stimulus.

For a few years I have been neglecting “mobility” and to be honest performance hasn’t taken a hit. But I have noticed with the accumulated years of age and lifting that I can’t move as well as I used to. Several years, ok 12 or, I did yoga regularly in Alaska after a day in the oil field and it helped me relax and sleep. I miss the way it helped calm my mind and body. Not so much ideology but the positions and breathing was beneficial.
So tonight I did yoga by video with a fast paced flow that had me sweating and improving my range of motion already after repeated cycles.
Believe in mobility, don’t believe in mobility. It’s active recovery work helping a weak physical quality I am experiencing, I am relaxed and will sleep well so that’s probably a huge benefit. And I didn’t have to go to the gym to do it.
