    Been really busy in life but staying consistent with the basics. Feeling good physically. I think I reached a mental milestone with effort -vs- results. And sometimes hard work does not mean heroic training efforts, just consistent training efforts that dont put one in the hole.

    Through the holidays a very simple, sustainable volume building method.
    Not exiting or interesting but effective and not killing me while I manage a new job and life changes that go with it.
    When I get stabilized I will add a third session and have to dice the volume better.

    Primary barbell lifts are used with CAT.

    The volume isn’t much the weight isn’t much. But my technique is improving, the bar speed is increasing so the quality of the work is improving. Adding another set next week a singl to a triple or I may hold steady and add an accessory movement, the pressing movements aren’t really that stressful with more volume and accessories..but deads and squats don’t seem to need as much volume to show improvements in the subjective, and my subjective with my expirience is better than a test and the waste that represents., why would I grind my ass into the dirt if I don’t have to?
    No hurry either way just a little more work every week.
    This weeks m-t-th-fr split seemed easy on the system

    Working on ways to reduce overall life stress anxiety. Taking longer to relocate to Fort Worth than when I was younger relocating..I think my personal Priorities,wants and needs have changed and I am just now able to verbalize them and admit them to myself.

    Had my 49 th birthday last weekend so I am still just M1 this year.

    I’ve been alright. Started a job a year and a half ago that’s been keeping me pretty busy. Still in the Denver area though...at least I made it out of Boulder. You’ve moved around a bit, hope things are working out for you!

    It looks like you’re training in a regular gym now? Do you still have a garage gym?
