    Tuesday continued

    Press
160x5x3 @9-10 Glad to get these in today.

    jm press
    95x10,100x10x2

Played on the bench while i was down there with a hundred loaded. Narrow grip is more accutely painful, while getting my hands to split the rings out wide is accutely comfortable. Counter intuitive. When I realized my injury I was doing a shitload of narrow grip work.
I will start progressing bench every other session now with a pool noodle spacer on the bar to play it safe(soft touch 1 board).

Hrv go ahead and train but limit intensity
TRAC you are recovering better than expected add 3% fatigue.

    Another Low intensity pull day.

    Powercleans
135x2,145x2,165x2,175x2,185x2. My rack sucks, I am worried about the bar hitting my left ac joint so I get the chest up and out to catch the bar.

    Sled rows75# sled +90x15x4

Suitcase runs 80 yards with a turn 110#. 4 runs 2 each hand. ( be cool to get up to bodyweight farmers walks each hand).

Ez bar curls. 50 of them. My Body will probably ask for a barbell pass tommorow.

Hrv go ahead and train intensely
TRAC train as regular try to nap

    Comp squat
    405x2
455x2 pr. Fruit is getting overripe on the pr tree
    432.5x2
That enough, no guilt good training this week.

I can't remember the last time I benched.

    Bench
    185x3
    205x3
    225x3
Last set was not comfortable. I really need that shave job.
Played around with 135for tempo different grips and did 10 push-ups.
Doing this in isolation to see how the ac joint feels later.
I would give up benching but as my presses got heavier it caused this acute pain as well. I can't imagine giving up all heavy( basicly anything over 75-80%) upper body pushing. Vacation first then get this scheduled.

Nice PR! Seems like surgery is the only option. I've heard of good success, as mentioned before, e.g. Bobby from this forum. You have your head on straight and know that 8-12 weeks of working your way back is nothing in the bigger picture. Maybe work your way up to a 500 squat meanwhile?!

Thanks. I already hit 500 in December . It may be time to work to a double @500 or drive past it if time allows.

Today is 4 days in a row where it was a no go for barbell training. Hrv gives, it takes away. Fighting a sinus infection and workplace stress before vacation. I leave on a Cruise this coming weekend, hoping for one more session under the bar at least before Friday morning. My body is apparently at a point where it wants a break anyway.

Sounds like a good time for a cruise. I could use one of those. It's been raining for a week up here.
