As mentioned before, I dabbled with taping the highlights of the workout today (ID for Squats). The footage for the intensity squats themselves was from a less than ideal angle. Incidentally, I found a good angle during the back-off sets, of which the videos depict.
Squats
375x3x2
I was going to try for a set of 5 today but I have a cold and I was lacking in both the energy and motivation departments.

Deadlifts
480x4 (Hook-Grip)
Although the 5th rep was done, I'm quite sure I hitched it a bit. I hadn't noticed this for about 5 minutes but it seems that my left thumbnail bled profusely after this due to the pressure. Interestingly, I couldn't find where the blood was coming from but I digress.

Today was intensity bench press day with the new grip. I probably jumped the gun in going with the weight I was attempting with the prior grip, as I evidently didn't hit the 5th rep mark.

I believe this was the 2nd attempt. Either way, I failed at the exact same place on each attempt.

I decided to do some back-off sets.

I deloaded on the press a tad and these ended up being a lot easier than I thought they would be. I had two videos but both were cut short due to low battery, so I'll hopefully get some videos up for these next time.

1-Board Bench Press

I decided to work on my explosiveness at the bottom ROM, as half-way up seems to be where I struggle the most.
If I don't pull-off rep #5 next week, I might have to consider dropping the reps to 3 or deloading a bit and going from there.

Volume squat day was quite taxing, but I was ultimately victorious. I trained a little bit later in the day than I usually do but that didn't seem to cause me any problems.

This was the last set. Not the prettiest set of the day I'll admit.

This isn't the most flattering angle so I'm sorry about that.

I'm hoping I'll be victorious with volume bench press tomorrow!

Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I had to divide the training into two days.
Saturday
Bench Press

These were fairly difficult, but in the end each repetition was successfully completed.

Mentally, I haven't been healthy recently but the press PR was nice. I guess I'll see how squatting goes tomorrow.

I was quite fatigued yesterday after having divided the bench press volume day on Saturday and Sunday. That said, intensity squat day was not the worst session I've had.

I lost tightness on the last rep; I really didn't feel well.

I was spent after squats so instead of attempting this for a set of 5 I decided to do sets of 3. The last rep of the last set was quite heavy.

Could have been better. Could have been worse. I'm really quite anxious about intensity day bench press. It seems to be a hurdle that I can't get passed.

Well that was a pretty solid Intensity Day for bench press!
Bench Press

I wasn't happy with the last repetition. I can now clearly see that I shifted the weight back and forth. Because of this I decided to do it again.

I finally broke through that barrier, so I'm quite pleased. The journey ahead will be more difficult, but thankfully I have some fractional plates on the way to make it more tolerable.

I don't know if anyone realised that I was gone, but here is how this past week has been.

Some PRs were made, so I can't be too upset with how abysmally my bench press is going. Hopefully, things will get better soon.

This hasn't been a great month or so. I seem to have lost all trace of my appetite and it is greatly affecting my training as a result. I'm just not hungry most of the time. I try to lessen the effects by drinking a metric-tonne of milk, but it has done little to slow the dramatic weight loss I'm currently experiencing. With a modified TM as my training base, this lack of acceptable nutrition has made it virtually impossible to do. I am making more progress with VD than I am with ID, so I decided to switch ID day with a lighter day. I plan on doing this until my eating habits have improved enough to warrant the change to higher intensity training. A lot of decreases in load have been made and I've been playing around the last few weeks. The only workout worth posting is today's VD for bench press (and press).
Bench Press
290x5x5
These felt heavier than usual but that's to be expected at this point.
Press
171x5x5
These were probably the most grueling presses I have ever done. On the other hand my fractional plates arrived last week, so I'm pretty chuffed about that!
Pull-Ups
AMRAPX5
I was beaten to hell after the presses, so I called it a day after pull-ups.
-
After having lost so much strength (and weight) from my seemingly non-existent appetite, I've had to scale back things and work my way up again. I'm also forcing myself to eat more, as I really have been failing miserably here.
Squats
315x5x5
These felt a lot heavier than they should have been, but I suppose it is to be expected with how little I've been eating.
Makeshift GHR (No Boxes)

I tweaked my back so deadlifts were a no-no.
Bench Press

292x5 292x3
292x5
Eh, I was hoping for a bit better of an outcome but I'll take the 3 sets of 5.
Chin-Ups
AMRAPx5
Press
171.5x4
Gah! I should have been able to do this for 5!

Funny how that .5 lbs makes all the difference with the press right?
