I had this happen to me once, but I think it was because I let my valsalva out from glottis to mouth.

I need to be a more diligent logger. I haven't skipped training, just the fun of logging.

My last training block was VERY GOOD, and I feel great about the training weeks ahead. Worlds feel both right around the corner and a long way off, but I have my flight, my hotel, and hopefully almost all the various fees all paid up. Now I just need my visa. It's super real.

You were sooooo tired, I know. I was impressed with how long you stuck with training that night. I think being the room, breathing the same air as the guys pulling like 800#, was the ticket to that bench.

Thanks, guys! It felt so good to get that, and I'm getting far less intimidated by heavy deadlifts too

Thanks! But we all get to see each other at the meet, right?

    3/20/17
    Day 1

I've moved back into a specialization/sports form block, so that means I get to work on bettering my mental game for these heavy singles. I'm not going to take an @9 attempt unless I am 100% confident that I'm going to get it. That means that I have to work on not second guessing myself AT ALL because I can indeed be pushing these weights up. Can I psych myself out? Yep. This must absolutely stop because I know that I have a fantastic program, I am putting in the hard work of training, and I am even sleeping a little better.

    Squat
    150x1 @8
152x1 @9 [335.5#] (not a lifetime PR, but this is more than my meet PR, and to be here in MARCH is super awesome)
    286x3x6 sets
    Instagram

    Bench
    80x1 @8
    85x1 @9 [187#](no lift off today)
    150x3x6 sets

    DL
    1 rep every 30 secs x 8 min at 165#
Working on not shifting my weight back right as I pull the bar off the floor

Bench, 3 ct pause, no rest
    up 155x1 @7
