Sometime you read a Journal and things come together and you can really feel some magic happening - congrats on the PR's, you've certainly put the work in to deserve them and many more.

Thanks, Chris. I'm certainly happy with the way it's all coming together at the moment. I'm looking forward to the weeks to come, and no lie: I am getting super excited to compete out of the US. It's going to be a cool experience no matter what.

Thanks! It happened again too. Training is fun. Training is funner when you PR sometimes.

    4/14/17
    Test Day

    Squat
    145x1
    152.5x1
    155x1 All-time PR

    Bench
    82.5x1
87.5 miss x2 Insert all the swear words that I never actually say right here. Totally my fault was having my head too focused on finally getting 90. I feel like an idiot with this attempt call, for sure.

    Deadlift
    152.5x1
    162.5x1
    167.x1 All-time PR
170 miss, took this one just because it was time to attempt it.

    Did I break parallel? ;-)

It was about 6" high, but don't worry. You're still strong and you'll get it next time. Once you compete you'll understand what's required to get white lights.

    Even better!

Just for clarification, was the bench 82.5 (as per log) or 85 (as per Insta)?

    Nicely done...

We live in parallel universes. My meet PR's yesterday were in the same lifts as yours.
