I'm still catching up on logs, but wanted to say congrats on your recent performance. You persevered and hit some GREAT numbers, even if they were second attempts.

Hope you're kicking back and having a blast on vacation!

    Thanks you guys! Appreciate it.

I am having a great vacation, and I'll admit that it's going to be pretty odd to go this long without a barbell. But I have been doing things I never would have done before-ziplining, canyoning, whitewater rafting, and then lots of hiking and pool time. We'll see what the next few days holds!

Sounds like great fun! You'll come back rarin' to get under the bar, too.

Just some pretty light reps. These were kind of painful today...

I had a fantastic vacation, didn't train once, did a bunch of great active things, rested, and came back ready to train again.

But everything felt heavy. Go figure.

Glad to see you back teach. I know the post-vacation, everything is heavy feels. It's totally worth it! You'll be cranking again in no time.

PS-- looks like that paused bench exploded, haha ;-)

Kyle, it was great to meet you too! You and Steve make a very strong couple. :-) And thanks!

    After a long weekend-

    Squat
    220x5
    242x5
    242x5
    242x5
    242x5

During this next phase I am going to aim to be far more particular about my technique. :-) We'll see how long I can keep that up!

    Bench
    125x5
    132x5
    132x5
    125x5
    125x5

And then I decided I was far to tired to do my pin pressing. That will wait. I realized that I have been home for a grand total of 4 days now since my meet. I am rapidly wearing out, but I'm cramming a bunch of great stuff in.
