    Hi Lou,
So first to avoid too much confusion, I always hit a set of 6 reps @7 first, this helps me have a much better idea of my @8 for the day. But if I do my set, planning it to be @8, but it wasn't, I still finish it. If I know that was still too light, I add weight and THEN I start my working set. If it was a low 8/boarding on a high 7, I am very confident that the next set will be a true 8, I might just move ahead. It kind of depends on the session, really.

I really tried to make sure these were all true 3 ct pauses, that I touched my chest in the right spot every.single.time, and held the bar totally still on my chest. I have a bad habit of kind of moving it around a lot....

Yes for even more volume today!

    Squat
    300x1 @8

Video of single and first set of 4. The first couple of sets felt off and sloppy. The bar was moving on my back, but I didn't have a cotton shirt with me, so I was stuck.

    Bench
    155x1
    125.5x4x10

    DB Bench

The volume is pretty great this week. It's a great amount of work, but I am not crushed by it. I didn't chalk my back since there wasn't much fabric there. Does it help much to just chalk your skin? These bar are supremely crappy.

I ran about 1 mile then rowed a couple thousand meters, then ran another 1.5 miles. I really wanted to hate this so much, but what can I say? My coach's program works, and I'm getting better at running so it wasn't awful.

L-sits and sort of L-sits, planks

    Chins 5x8

I will do some power cleans later, at some point.

    Holy volume Leah...

+1 to the chalking of skin. I've had to do it for cleans/FS. I don't know how crossfitters lift half naked all the time.
