Also, I forget to say that this made me laugh. I would take a shirt with that nickname. So I guess I have to do my rows now.

This is just my angst about being an advanced lifter and trying to eek out progress. It's going to work out, I am sure, and again, there really isn't any other course.
We all believe in you, Leah. Most of us aren't near your level of advancement, and at times we feel the same way anyhow.

Thanks, Guys. Sometimes this thing we do get pretty tough! The switch with my squat grip is happening, and I haven't died yet. Today they almost ALL felt super solid again. Jordan solved it. I guess he's kind of good at this stuff.

I just can't fathom how anyone does this. My last 4 (maybe 8) rounds would only be like %10 faster than resting, assuming I wasn't already on the floor dying.

Several years ago, I couldn't do it, but I've improved. Although with that many rounds you run the risk of your butt going numb. This is WAY better than rowing a 5k or something.

A few busy week so lots of travel, some very late training due to work, and all that jazz. But things should be a tad more routine here.

Swapped my training days due to some lingering sciatic pain.

    Squat with chains
    275 + chains x1 @8 (maybe about 335?)
    231 x 5 x 2 sets (plus chains)
    236x5 x 1 set (plus chains)

    3 board CG bench
    198x1 @8
176x5 x2 sets (missed the final rep)
    170x5 x 1 set

    DB Press
    35x7 x 2 sets
    30x7 x 2 sets

Why am I failing so hard at logging!??!

Last week was a bit funky because I tweaked my back and had some sciatic trouble, so I moved a bunch of stuff around. But all is good, the leg pain/numbeness is gone, I just have an pissed glute, and I still got in all the training I needed to.

    8/28/17
    Day 1

    Squats
    332x1 @8
    253x 5 x 8 sets. Yes, you read that correctly, 8 sets.

    Bench
    178x1 @8
    139x5 x 8 sets

This was all just exhausting, but it was also very good because I a lot of the small things that Jordan has been working on with me technique-wise are starting to get more ingrained. Working hard to have solid singles and lots of really clean reps here.

But I still had some more work to do-
    Floor press with pause
    121x7 x 2 sets
    132x7 x 2 sets

    Then some GPP work.

Ever wonder what's it's like to train with Jordan on the regular? It's awesome, but a little tiring. I didn't really think that he was going to make me do all 40 reps, but he did.

Also of note, due to some careful re-working of my squat grip, I have ZERO elbow pain this training cycle.
