    Deadlift:
    345x2
    345x4 @8
    365x4 @9
    345x4 @9

Conventional was actually feeling good today, aside from the shitty amount of weight. Loosening up the hips has really helped out it seems.

    Press:
    95x7 @5
    105x7 @7.5
    115x7 @8.5
    120x5 @9.5

Been a while since I've pressed...it shows. These were Press 1.5s.

    Beltless squat:
    185x7 @6
    225x7 @8

Back was absolutely fried, and gym was about to close. Still had to stretch hips out, so I didn't go for another set.

Got about 8 hours of sleep total between T, W, and Thursday nights...important matters in one of my legal cases. I hate my job sometimes. As a result, I was dragging ass bigtime today...but overall still not a terrible day considering the circumstances.

    Squat:
    295x4 @8
    315x4 @9
    320x4 @9
    300x4x2 @8/9

300 backoff sets felt the best...but was just not keeping as tight as I normally do. Right knee had a tendency to move in a little too.

    Press:
    105x7 @7
    115x6 WTF?
    115x5 Really, WTF?

    Pause DL:
    225x7 @6
    275x7 @8
    315x6

Got a little greedy on the last set...but really just wanted to hit three plates on the pause DL again.

Last week's bad sleep/diet hurt me more than I thought...

    Deadlift:
    315x4 @6.5 really easy
    345x4 @8.5
    370x2
    355x2

    Yuck.

    Touch and go bench:
    185x7 @6.5
    205x7 @7.5/8
    225x7 @9
    230x6

    No great, but not bad.

How's your psoas strain? Pretty much resolved?

It's pretty close...but I've been getting a lot of flare-ups in my hips and adductors lately to replace it. I've found out that stretching my hips for about 10 minutes each day has helped a lot (esp. post-lifting), so I'm hoping this will take care of itself after a couple more weeks.

Lots of 2-3am bedtimes due to work...strength training has not been a priority.

    Squat:
    275x4 @7
    300x4 @8
    315x4 @9
    300x4 @8.5

315x4 @9...pretty much says it all.

    3-sec pause bench:
    145x7 @7
    155x7 @8
    165x7 @9

    Pause deadlift:
    225x7 @7
    255x7 @8
    275x7 @9

    Deadlift:
    305x4 @7
    325x4 @8
    340x4 @9

In notes: something just seemed really off about the form. Lots of cratering early on...doesn't feel like a strong pull.

    Press:
    95x7 @7
    105x7 @8.5
    110x7 @9

Despite being a little groggy from the week, today was pretty good compared to last week:

    Squat:
    280x4 @7
    305x4 @8
    320x4 @9
    305x4 @9

    Touch-and-go bench:
    185x7 @7
    200x7 @7.5/8
    215x7 @9

    Deadlift:
    305x4 @7
    330x4 @8
    345x4 @8.5
    325x4x2 @ 8.5, 8.5

Probably left 5-10 lbs on the bar for the top set. I concentrated more on staying over the bar and bringing the bar back to my shins. Also switched up the supinated hand (have always used the left hand...supinated the right this time). The form finally clicked, and the lift finally started feeling like it used to, after a few months of awkwardness. Really pumped to start this lift up again...pun fully intended.

    starting strength coach development program
Update: Due to a particularly horrible few weeks of work, training basically nonexistent for about a 2-month stretch from late September to November. Tried my damndest to at least maintain, but long stretches of bad sleep and the holidays didn't help.

Long story short, had to restart LP--December was still pretty inconsistent training-wise, but at least I could make progress, albeit slowly. But a week and a half ago tore a hamstring while deadlifting, so currently rehabbing that.

So here goes complete and utter mediocrity, in all its glory. Though the weights lifted generally blow major ass, hopefully someone happening upon this might at least see how some of us shitty-gened, low-T mortals who chose shitty professions cope when life interferes with our passions.
