Elbows feel ok! The power of Celebrex is with me. Amen.

    Paused Bench

    145kgx2x3

Felt happy about those. None of the reps were hugely grindy, but I would be happier if it were easier.

    Squat

    255kgx3
Not terribly hard. But AGAIN, on the video, all reps were high. I'm not happy about this. Next week I'll really have to focus on descending a little faster and getting deeper. Hard thing to do, since I intend on doing 265kgx3 (584.2 lbs) and it's awfully hard to not get a little scared with this kinda weight.

    235kgx3

Paused, went deeper on this one. Still not happy with depth, although these reps were legal depth. I felt deeeeeep, but was only barely below.

    Saturday

Rack pull (below the knee, always)

    245kgx3

Not terribly hard. But on the third rep by elbow kinda popped and settled into place and this small pop caused a downward jeking motion that proptly tore a big beefy callus.

    Paused deadlift
    190kgx3

Not terribly hard either. Just tiresome. I taped my torn callus before this and did it with straps, hands were ok.

    OHP

    70kg x5x2

Long time not doing these. Just to play around.

    Monday

    Elbows ok.

    Paused bench

    125kgx3x6

    Ok. Nothing unusual.

    Squat
    With wraps

    225x3x3

    Last set was paused. "Easy".

    Wednesday

My regular gym was closed due to the jewish holidays.
This gym was crowded but I managed to do the core of my training for the day.

    Deadlift

    215kg x3x3
    x1 (paused, with straps).

Very aggressive knurling on this bar. Weights might have been too light, a buddy of mine said the plates were a little lighter than the face value. Kinda easy, I'll never know if it's due to the magic of periodization or the plates being lighter.

My gym is in the basement of a Jewish club thing. So for some reason the club was open, some kind of celebration was taking place, but the gym was closed.

    Friday

    Paused bench

    152.5x2x2
    152.5x1x2

I tried doing doubles but the second rep came out very ugly. So I finished doing singles.

    Squat
    265kgx3

    Hard.
    As.
    Fuck.

    Still not happy with depth.

    Saturday

    Rack pulls

    255kgx3

Hard. Not super hard, just hard.

    Paused deficit deadlift

    200kgx3

I expected this to be harder to be honest.

All sets done with straps. Not risking tearing my freshly healed callus.

    Monday

    Squat
    205kgx3x3

Since it's been more than two weeks since I've squatted heavy without wraps, these felt very strange.

    Bench (competition pause)

    122.5kg x3x6

    Quite happy with those.

    Squat with wraps

    225kgx3

    Much easier and smoother.

Speed looked pretty good for a heavy triple on the 265x3 squat. Have your elbows been feeling better? What has helped?
