I lifted without a belt, and my pants fell down.

Heh, thanks guys! :-) I am still in "experiment" mode, but I think the beltless work is carrying over to my normal competition lifts. I am not 100% sure on the squat, but basically I go low bar without a belt/wraps. But I felt my last training cycle did work well with deadlifts. I actually like pulling in a heeled shoe now. I feel like it is easier to get into my starting position. But I still think I lift more without shoes, but since I am adding a belt as well, it could just be that.

I tried high bar squats, but they just feel odd to me. Low bar just feels more natural.

    More to come tomorrow!

Thanks Sean! I still have a long way to go to hit some of my goals, but at least I feel like things are moving in the right direction again.

    12/9 (squat/dl assist day)

    Squat (no belt or wraps)
    1. 365x2
    2. 375x2
    3. 385x2
    4. 385x2
    5. 385x2
    6. 385x4 **These went well, and I tried to keep up a fast pace again. My knees and hips were sore today, but I just pushed through that in #kittenmode. :-)

DL (oly shoes, no belt, less than 1 min between sets):
    1. 495x1
    2. 505x1
    3. 515x1
    4. 515x1
    5. 515x1
    6. 515x1 **These went really well too, moving up next time. No pain on these, my body likes deadlifting.
