Halting Dead: 2x4x495
Worst training day ever. Forgot to bring gym shorts. Tried squatting in cargo shorts. Split during warmup.
Warmed up insufficiently for halting deadlifts (did my usual routine, and didn't think to account for the fact that I hadn't done my planned 3x5x405 squats). Also forgot to change out of my squat shoes. Was supposed to do 8x495, but everything sucked by rep 2. I assume I was a poster of what not to do on the deadlift.
This pissed me off bad.
The good news is I didn't realize that I was doing the deads in my squat shoes until I was going to bed. This probably had a lot to do with why it felt like I was squatting the damn bar off the ground. I usually pull in flats.
