    How did the openers feel?

Does the right side pull affect you during lifting or did you only get sore after?

Happy resting now so you're fresh and ready for Saturday!

Opening at well over a 2x BW squat is pretty cool.

thanks....I sure hope I can hit my second & third attempts as planned. I haven't squatted near 90% in about 2 weeks now.

I will evaluate my second based on how the opener moves. I'd rather take a few lbs off the second and pass the attempt, than go for it on the third. I do not want to fail the second attempt.

I would like to break the American Record on my second attempt

    thank for checking in

I didn't do the openers this morning. I don't want to push things.

My right side hurts like hell as I rack the bar and release the tension in my core. Same is true for dl, when I let the bar down.

    4/27

    Block #4 Week #25

    Meet prep
    LBBS @ 60% of opener
    215 x 2 x 2

    DL
    60% of opener
    225 x 2 x 2

    Bench - rehab progress
    bar x 20
    95 x 5
    135 x 5
    155 x 3
    185 x 1
195 x 1 added 10 lbs from last session. Moving in the right direction.

    Note:
left biceps tendon pain on last rep @ RPE of 8...lol
Right side still sore after such a light session.

Game plan on second and third attempts will be based on how the first attempt goes.

    Plan A
    Squat
    357.5
    385 American Record & PR
    396

    Plan B
    357.5
    368.6
    385 American Record & PR

If I manage to break the record on my second attempt there will be no third attempt. I need to make sure my right side doesn't blow up and cause me to limit dl's.

I would love to break a 1000lb meet. My path could be, even if I stop at the squat record @ 385, I know I can pull 400 - 405. That means I will need to bench 215+.
So, if I squat 385, I will make my third bench attempt @ 220.
Pain may be a limiting factor for any of this to happen.

Being beat up does make for an interesting meet for me. An added factor that is unpredictable.

Rest of the week rest up, drop 2 lbs.
