10 days out and I am thinking about my approach to this meet.

My approach will be to go 9 for 9 and not make my third attempts for PR's. My original plan was to have a 1,000 lb total, break the squat and total records. In order for me to do that I would need to squat - 340, bench - 260, deadlift - 400. I was able to squat 340 on 8/1 but haven't squatted heavy since. I was able to bench 255 on my third attempt at same meet, but left elbow tendonitis has keep me from benching for 3 weeks.

I'm thinking my openers will be:
    squat - 280 (american record)
    bench 225
    deadlift 320

    second attempts
    squat 300
bench? will figure it out once I know how I do with 225. if the pain is not severe than 240
    deadlift 360

    third attempts
squat 320. if I am feeling it than 340
bench 260 assuming 240 moves well
    deadlift 380

current records for Men's Raw 74kg/163lbs. Masters IIB (55-59)
    squat 276.50
    bench 276.50
    dl 440.75
    total 876.25

I will like to test my elbow this Saturday and see how it goes. I will easy the weights up a little at a time and not risk further shit.

    10/6/15
    BW 156

    deadlift
    185 x 5
    225 x 5
    255 x 3
    285 x 1
    300 x 1
    315 x 1
    330 x 1
    305 x1,1,1

    squat
    205 x 3,3,3,3

    Note:
330 deadlift felt ok. I didn't want to push too much with the bursitis just feeling better, so I stopped at 1 single for 330.

    deload starts:
    Friday SQuat 45% x3x3
    Saturday Paused Bench 45% x 3 x 3
    Sunday deadlift 40% x 3 x 3. Squat 25% x 3 x 3

I went to the gym this morning looking to test my tendonistis in my left elbow. I havent bench in more the 2 weeks.

    Paused bench
    135 x 10
    155 x 5
    185 x 3
    205 x 2
    225 x 1
    230 x 1

    Note
I am over joyed that I was able to reach 230 with no discomfort. All the PT, acupuncture, massage, ointments etc. seem to have help make a remarkable recovery since Saturday. If you ask me on Saturday what odds I would have placed on being able to bench I would have given less the 10%. Saturday I couldn't unrack 135lbs.
