    Another hamstring setback. Not really sure why this keeps happening. I suspect I may be pushing myself too hard, not warming up properly and using suspect form. So anyway I am starting back on the Starr Rehab.

    Bench 237.5x5, 237.5x5, 237.5x5 Benching is going well. Maybe RPE 9.5 on 5th rep of last set.

    3-Way Delt Circuit 3 sets
    Squats 115x10, 135x10, 155x10 Tired but got em in. Form still really good and no pain.

    Since not many people read this besides me I am starting to add notes to myself for my next workout.

    Slight pain. I think I need to warm up a lot better. Went 135x5, 185x5, 225x5, 275x8...
    Next time 5x10 at bar, then 135x10, 185x10, 205x10, 225x5, 245x5, 275ish etc

    Warmed up bench really really well and what do you know, no deltoid pain. Funny how that works.

    Good workout. Break in middle for dinner with friends. Triceps smoked.

    starting strength coach development program
    Finally broke down and started Garage Gym Warrior (GGW).
    Reasons: I like squatting 3x a week. Wanted to build some momentum going into new year, next meet is Aug 2018. Want to lose weight starting in January and being on a HLM will help with that.

    Starting numbers:
    Squat 400 (no idea if this is accurate best recent is 275x10 at RPE 8, did 315 3x8 about 3 weeks ago.)
    Deadlift 430 (again, haven't done recent single but best recent is 355x8)
    Bench 280
    Press 170

    Week 1a
    Squat 280x6, 280x6, 280x6, 280x6 Harder than I thought these would be but got em done at 10:30pm
    Bench 185x6, 185x6, 185x6 (Did CGBP Paused to make these harder)
    DL 260x6, 260x6, 260x6 (Did on 2" deficit to make harder)

    Off to a good start. Harder than I expected but that's good, it will drive some adaptation. Squats felt great, a good thorough warmup seems to be key. Getting older...is interesting.
