    Saturday 10/10

    Last heavy sets before natties.

    Squats:
    Singles at 496, 545, 585

    Bench:
    315x1 w/ pause, up to 330x1 w/paused slingshot

    Everything is feeling good. I hit the weights I wanted to today without tapering much yet. I think I'm good
    For 606 in the squat and a bit more in the dead. Now its time to chill out and make weight. I have a big water cut to do. Everything is now in the hands of the barbell gods.

    Monday 10/12

    I worked up to openers in squat and bench at 545 and 295 respectively. They were both slower than I hoped. I didn't really have my mind dialed in and payed the price. Good news is that if I can half-ass my openers the week of a meet and still crush them, I supposed I picked them well. I have more more lift session on Wednesday then I'm shutting it down.

    I'm also water loadin right now in order make the 231 class. I drank 2 gallons of water today and are a ton of salt. My weight is about the same but I have a nice big bloat going on. I have some serious sausage fingers right now as a type. I followed my workout with 40 minutes of incline treadmill walks.

    Wednesday 10/14

    Squats and Bench:
    3x5x135

    In line treadmill walk for 30 minutes

    Just keeping the blood flowing after a 6 hour drive today. Everything is feeling pretty good. I'm pretty bloated right now from the water loading which in general makes you feel funny 24/7.

    With all that water, how many times did you have to stop and pee during a six hour drive? Towards the end of a 2 gallon day, I would probably have to stop every ten miles.

    Oh man, it was on the hour for sure. It was worse today on the plane. I had a window seat and had to go three times. The poor Indian couple next to me had to get up to let me out only to have to me come back to my seat to drink more water and eat salt packets. I'm sure they rightfully thought I was very strange.

    starting strength coach development program
    Saturday 10/17

    Decided not to try to make weight at 105s. I was a full to KGs over with 18 hours till weigh ins. I didn't want to have to force out the sweat. Jordan wrote me a solid weight cut that was dialed and I'm a bit bummed I couldn't make it. Oh well, time to rehydrate and smash to PRs... 120kgs fa lyfe!
