    Been over a year since updating this. Work has been busy so this log fell off a bit.

    In the last year I've continued TM and got 500 lb squat back in the spring. Was asked to lose some weight for my wedding in May so took about 6 weeks of doing less volume and adding HIIT and then had a 2 weeks honeymoon where I did nothing. It has been a slow grind getting back up to my past numbers but here is the last few workouts. I started back up with Cleans up to 185 x 3 x 3 but they really just aggrevate my shoulder/elbow so I just decided this week to switch it with 55% SGDL.


    Mon 8/8
    Squats
    395x5x4+ (8 reps last set)

    Bench
    265x5x4+ (7 reps last set)

    Power Clean
    180x3x3

    Chins x 4 sets (5 6 5 5)


    Wed 8/10

    Squat
    315x5x2

    Press
    175x4x3 - FAIL first set, deloaded next 2 sets
    160x4x2

    Row
    190x7x3

    Band pull aparts 20x2



    Fri 8/12

    Squat
    450x5 - FAIL - only got 2 doubles - thinking the amrap set of 8 was too much on monday, that 8th rep was grindy

    Bench
    305x2x3 FAIL - got 2 reps and then only 1 rep. Maybe too much on the amrap monday as well?

    Halting Deadlifts
    425x8 FAIL - only got 7 - first time ever doing these will redo same weight next week

    Lite Latz pulldowns 110 x 10 x 3

    Tuesday 8/16 - Usually work out on Monday but had a charity golf outting, involved heavy daytime drinking

    Squat 400x5x4 (cutting out amraps)

    Bench 270x5x4

    PC 185x3x3

    Chins 6,5,4,4



    Wednesday to Sunday on vacation in Cape Cod, missed Thursday workout so just went to gym on Friday



    Fri 8/19 working out at the same gym I always go to when on the cape. Its not a terrible place but its in a hotel basement which is weird.

    Squat 455x2 425x2 - not planning to hit anything specific this workout since ive been at the beach all day the last 2 days and this workout is taking place at 8 am.

    Bench 285x3 275x3 - feeling weak from vacation

    Rack Pulls 485x5 (2 weeks ago I did these with 505 no problem, beach vacation is no good for training

    Lite Latz Raises 120x10x3

    Mon 8/22

    Squat 405x5x4 (going to repeat this next week to get some space between valume and intensity days)

    Bench 275x5x4 (also goign to repeat to get space with intensity weight which is at 88 % right now)

    SGDL 275x7x2 (getting off of cleans because they cause me pain)

    Chins 6 5 5 4



    Wed 8/24

    Squat 320x5x2

    Press 155x5x3 (1st day after a deload also missed Presses last week due to vaca)

    Row 185x7x3 (dunno why I still do these, can anyone out there think of a replacement for them? maybe should start learning to snatch?)

    Squat 460x3

    Bench 310x2x2

    Halting DL 410x7 - 2nd time doing these. They felt ok. Did them strapless, hook grip. barely held on to the last 2 reps. Prob need to strap up next time.

    Mon 8/30 - left work early to hit the gym before softball playoffs tonight.

    Squat 405 x 5 x 4

    Bench 275 x 5 x 4 (felt good so also did a triple w/ 225 CGBP a few minutes after last set)

    SGDL 280 x 8 x 2

    No chins because softball game , trying to conserve a little energy

    Sat 9/3

    Squat 465x3

    Bench 315x2x2 - Failed. Only got the first rep. Followed up with 315x5x1 w/ slingshot

    Rack Pull 490x5

    Grip work - 2 hand hangs from pull up bar. 3x10 seconds. Dumbell hold w/ 115lb 2 sets.

    Lat Pull Down 130x10x3

    Mon 9/5

    Squat - 410x5x3, 380x5x1 - was supposed to be 410x5x4 but less than 2 days recovery and lifting in the morning in a hot gym put an end to that.

    Bench - 260x5x4 - After only gettign 1 rep at 315 on Saturday I'm switching to rotating 3's, 2's and 1's and doing a slight reset.

    SGDL - 285x8x2

    Chins - 5 5 3
