Hi Cassi, awesome work. Love those socks.
One comment on your deadlift, I used to use alternating grip but found it torqued me to the side of my supinated hand. If you freeze the vid @ 8 seconds you will see the bar shift toward your supinated hand. Now this may never cause a problem for you. I found after awhile it caused me some issues with my left side. I now use hook grip
I tape, but here is the thing, I hated the hook until I found how to hook correctly. I may fuck this up but here it goes. When I hook grip I place my index finger one one side of the thumb knuckle and the middle finger on the other side. Most people you see place both fingers on the same side, on the side of the finger nail. That just crushes the thumb.
I tried my best to explain this.

I switched to hook grip a few months ago. It took at least 3-4 weeks to not feel like my thumbs were going to fall off. But, I did get used to it. It still hurts, but not in a "shit did my thumb just fall off?" way. I have not been using tape -- tried it once early on and didn't like it. I imagine as the weight gets heavier though I will need it.
Love the socks!
I tape my thumbs for hook grip, I also get that twist if I pull mixed.
