First Meet in the books! Overall I think it went about as well as it could have. I went 9/9. 385 squat, 269.5 bench, 456.5 DL for a 1111 total. I left some on the table with the Squat but that was to be expected and it was still a 35lb PR. Didn't get great vids, had just one friend there who was far away. Roland showed up and got some good vids, that I'll post later.

    Squat - 385x1 - 35lb PR

    385x1 - YouTube

Bench - 269.5x1 - I've done 275x1 in training TNG but this was obv a Pause PR

    269.5x1 - YouTube

DL - 456.5x1 - I was smoked by this time in the Meet - body not used to it! 11lb PR.

    456.5x1 - YouTube

Like I said - overall I'm happy. 7 weeks post hernia surgery and I didn't quite have time to work up to my previous training loads. I think I probably could have squatted 405 today if my life depended on it, so that's nice to know. Focused and ready to crush it in the Fall. Will plan to do this same USAPL Meet at SBWC. Unfortunately its super crowded during these things but what can ya do?

Ok now time for Pearl Jam at the Garden. Big day!

Well done Ryan. That's a great comeback in just seven weeks. Can you feel anything at all from the hernia repair now, or is it 100%?
