Squats felt good. Bench as well. Didn't get vid of DL but I could tell I lost my squeeze on the last 2 reps, which isn't a good sign at this weight. I am going to revert back to my modified TM template I was using in the beginning of the year. 3 big lifts in one day is just too much for me, even one day a week. Just too shot by the time DL rolls around. Since I have jury duty this week messing me up anyway, I'll do my light day Wednesday and then start up fresh with Volume Day next Monday.

Unfortunately have to miss Friday's workout due to jury duty which sucks unfortunately but its not the end of the world since I need to switch back to the modified TM anyway. Shouldn't affect too much in the long run I don't think. I'm ready for a good block of training here. Other than Labor Day I don't think I'll miss any time until Thanksgiving, at least not planning to

8/19/17(Saturday) Program switch back to the modified Texas Method I was doing earlier this year.
Squat: 285x5x4
285x5 - YouTube
Bench: 210x5x4
Chins: BWx5x1, BWx4x2, BWx3x10 = 43reps in 9:40
Squats feeling good lately. Realized I probably should have done a set of CGBP. So this week is stretched out. Will lift Tuesday and Friday with Tuesday being a little heavier than a standard light day and Friday being a normal intensity day. I'm happy to be eating like a lifter again too. Ready for a good block of training here

No magical discoveries from my log when squeezes got bad in the past. I just don't get great squeezes when the weight starts to get heavy. Unfortunately "heavy" is lighter than is used to be, partly because I'm lighter than I used to be. I'll go for 405x5 next week and really focus on the squeeze and see how it looks. If its crap I'll just switch to triples

Had to go to the bathroom pretty bad before my work set on Squat, which affected my concentration and resulted in a pretty crappy set. But at least the weight didn't feel heavy yet. Set for another 10lb jump next week. Bench moved well. PC, while still terrible was better than last week. And its definitely a stretch to call that a double.

I think this is the best I've felt physically since I started using SS programming. I know these weights are still relatively light(but these reps flew), but in the past no matter the weight on the bar, there was always something hurting. Sometimes its nice just to feel good and not have any pain/discomfort, even if its just for a while

DL squeezing is a little better but not quite all the way there. As I suspected, upping my calories is helping a bit too. I think I know what cue to use for myself next week to get it back to where it needs to be. Also probably going to add a back off set at 90% next week. Press still moving well.

I'm not sure I'll get the vid up, but squats felt pretty good. Will do another 10lb jump. Bench solid. PC pathetic. Need to decrease my time between reps. A 1:16 triple probably doesn't count as a triple
