    BW (7/24 morning): 241.0#

Sleep (7/23 evening): 7h37m, 2x awake, 18x restless plus ~1 hr nap this afternoon

    Squat w/ Belt
    380x7 @7
    400x7 @8.5
    390x7 @9
    370x7 @8
Heat index was 101F (93F/50% RH). These were killing me. I rated most of these higher than bar speed would suggest because my legs were turning to jello after rep 5 or 6. Rest after the first set was under ~8 mins, but after that I had to take 10+ mins because of the heat.

Comp Raw Bench (pinkies on rings)
    240x7 @7
    255x7 @8
    270x7 @9
    255x7 @9
This was fine. Left pec hurt a little. Pauses are too short (sometimes nonexistent) as you can see in the video. Still adjusting to paused benching.

Video of top set: 2016-07-24 Bench 270x7 - YouTube

Close-Grip Incline Bench - 12 min AMRAP with 7RM (index fingers 1/4" into knurling)
    215x5 @7
    215x5 @8
    215x4 @9
    215x3 @8.5
    215x3 @9.5
    215x3 @9.5
    215x2 @9.5 (failed rep 3)
    (25 total reps)
Propped up one end of my bench about 3" using a couple of 2x10s because I don't have an incline bench.

Total session time was about 3 hours. Took 1h15 from getting to the garage to finishing squats. Kind of felt like shit after that.

    Oh man. 400x7!
Nice work dude!!! This is your first time (at least in recent training) that you've squatted more than 5 reps?

Haha. Thanks! I wanted to just throw 405 on there, but I didn't.

Yeah, it's the first time I've ever squatted over 5 reps with a significant weight.

Heh. Wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so damn hot...maybe. I'm supposed to deadlift sets of 7 tonight. :/

I'm leaving my fan on low all day today in hopes that when I get home, the garage won't be as hot and muggy.

    Deadlift w/ Belt, no shirt
    380x7 @7
    400x7 @8
420x7 @10 (really 5, then 2 more after ~20 seconds of catching my breath)
    390x7 @8.5
That was really not fun. More limited by my poor aerobic capacity than strength.

    [dinner break]

    3ct Pause Bench
205x6 @7.5 (accidentally did an extra rep)
    215x5 @7.5
    235x5 @8
245x5 @8.5 (extra set to try and get to @9)
    235x5 @8.5
Pretty strong on these today compared to last week.

303 Tempo Squat - 12 min AMRAP with 7RM load (no belt)
    335x5 @8.5
    335x3 @9.5
    335x2 @9.5
    335x2 @9.5
    335x1 @10
    Well that was pretty hard.

I don't think I've ever sweat this much over the course of a gym session before...ever.
