Bench - 295-3, 305-4, 320-2, - No shoulder issues today. Did the program exactly.
DB rows - 85-15, 95-10, managed to squeeze a couple of 5's onto my biggest dumbbell to make it 95
Press - 205-4,5, - added 2 reps from last 205 press workout
Chins with 45lbs - OH - 3,5, UH - 5,5
Had a decent workout today. Next workout Monday after Christmas to work off some of that Turkey dinner!

Squat - 455-2, - Worked up to a new PR. The second rep depth was maybe a bit high and a grinder getting up. Mislabeled the video as 445x2...

Bench - 340-1, Worked up to a PR 340 but it was a 5 second grinder. Felt off today despite getting lots of sleep etc. really noticed it on my presses where I couldn't even do 1 at 225 where previously have been able to do that for 2 reps.
DB Rows - 95-12,12
Press - 225-fail
Chins +45lbs - 4,3 wimped right out at the end.

Last Friday's deadlift workout sucked. Couldn't budge 500. Whatever I'm doing its not working...
Today - Did a pre-meet check today. Probably my last heavy deadlift prior to competition.
Squat - 465-1, Worked up to a new PR. Bit of a grind but got it up.

Comp Bench - 315-1, 340 - fail, 315 felt light, 340 almost went.
Deadlift - 500 - fail, 465- 2, Just didn't have it in me to move the 500. 465 felt easy and I probably could have done another 2 or three. I seem to be losing strength on this lift or lack the fortitude to pull as hard as I can. I'll have to change up my programming after the meet with some pause lifts and rack pulls.
I just completed two cycles of Jonny Candito's 6 week intermediate program. I seem to have gained maybe 25 pounds on my squat, and perhaps 5 on my bench. Deadlift seems to be losing. We'll see how it all turns out at the meet on the 14th.
How far out from the meet?
The pr squat looked to be a bit Grindr, that takes away from your deadlift. Something to consider with your selection strategy.
