Thanks Walter, I'll sure give 340 a try.

Last heavy workout before my meet 8 days out. I'll probably do a light workout mid week otherwise I'll go crazy thinking I'm getting weak by not working out.
Squat 435-2,2 - Everything felt good, weight moved well. This will be my opener unless I get the flu or something.
Comp Bench 315-2, 285-5 - Again, weight moved fast on first rep, a bit slower on the second, no shoulder pain or issues. This will be my opener for the bench.
My only concern is my deadlift. Hopefully the adrenaline helps me to pull 500 or more...

Sounds like you are in a good place. Doubling 315 is good sign. Get your rest and nutrition and you'll be primed for a great day!

Completed my third meet today. I'll follow up with video tomorrow. Weighed in at 102.8kg (226lbs) - Masters 2 - 53 years old. Going from memory here... Haven't had time to review the video as the meet went from 8am all day right to 7:30pm. Got home around 9:30pm
Squat:
1st attempt - 190kg - two red lights for not getting enough depth
2nd attempt - 200kg - nailed depth but shot up too fast and slightly lost my balance at the top - 3 red lights for taking a step to balance myself
3rd attempt - 210kg (462lbs) - Getting worried, had to get this or potentially get kicked out of the comp for missing all 3 attempts - Good lift! Would have went for a PR but didn't want to take a chance of not making it. Did set a provincial squat record and is a comp PR for me
Bench:
1st attempt - 140kg - Didn't feel great...
2nd attempt - 150kg - Felt heavy so went conservative for 3rd
3rd attempt - 152.5kg (335.5lbs) - Got the lift, no grind. Comp PR for me.
Deadlift:
1st attempt - 210kg - Felt pretty good, but started light as I had failed my last couple heavy deadlift sessions in training
2nd attempt - 230kg - Good bar speed, no issues but still lacked a bit in confidence in choosing my third lift
3rd attempt - 237.5kg (522.5lbs) - Best lift of the night for me. Felt lightest of all 3 deadlifts and a 5 pound PR. Left a bit in the tank but still happy it went up
Finished with a 600kg total exactly which is 1320lbs and broke the British Columbia 105KG M2 record for total by 2.5kg (5lbs). My wife, my son and his girlfriend all did well with 1st place performances too!

Wow, outstanding!! Congrats on the PR's, the record, and a great day for the family. 1,320 lbs is no joke for a 53 year old. Congrats!

Excellent results, The squat scenario sounds scarey.

Picked up a couple of pounds per lift using the correct conversion from kilo's to pounds. My son put the video together but you tube cut out the soundtrack...

Travelling for business. Found a weight set. Starting post-meet program...
Deadlifts - 385-3,3, - Thought I felt good after the meet, but once I started lifting felt sore and tired. Only did a couple sets and called it quits. Didn't get up to target weight...

Bench - 255-2,2,2,2,2 - Light day for bench. Did comp pause and went for bar speed on the push.
Squat - 385-3,3,3,3,3 - Felt heavier than it should have. Still a bit sore and tired from meet...
Squat OL - 560-1,1,1 - These didn't feel too bad.

Press - 225-1, 185-6,6,5, - Haven't pressed in a few weeks. Worked up to a fairly heavy single, followed by sets of 6's & 5. Was planning on 5 sets but felt 3 was enough for today. All strict...
Deadlift - 405-5,5,5,5,5 - Deadlifts all felt good
