Enjoy Hawaii!!
Thanks Chris! Brittany and I had a great time on our honeymoon, but I was definitely really looking forward to getting back to training. I am feeling well rested and strong so I just jumped right back into the second week of Andy Baker's Garage Gym Warrior Program.

We got a 1 month membership at Texas Strength Systems today. I have to dismantle and prepare to move our garage gym to our new home and rebuild the platform. We will have an awesome place to train in the meantime though.

Power Clean: Worked up to a double with 264 for fun.
I need to start over and choose more conservative maxes for the GGW program. I initially chose my maxes based on the competition PRs that I set at the 2017 Starting Strength Challenge. I should have based my maxes on the results of the Texas Method intensity days before the honeymoon. Live and learn. And power cleans are better and more fun than BB Rows.

I restarted my run with the GGW Program. The following are my new more conservative training maxes for the program: Squat 565, Press 245, Deadlift 650, Bench 335. The first few weeks of the program start off pretty light so I am taking the opportunity to focus on improving my technique on the lifts.
